So… Much… Glitter!!
I had been eyeing this for such a long time, and when Tati from YT raved about this one in 208 (apparently a dupe to WOG by MAC), I bought it… And was so disappointed. I really tried to like it, but when I swatched it… It was just… Glitter! Big CHUNKS of glitter, and the formula is a CHALKY MESS. It was recommended to use as a highlight… I’ve only been able to use this as a highlight when I’m at my absolute tannest, other wise it looks plain yellow on me. Still, it’s too glittery for my taste… But I see how some people would like it. I would buy again only because I don’t have a highlight for when I’m tan… But no
I recommend the Wet n Wild eye trios if you’re looking for a highlighter. The pink shade in Walking on Eggshells is AMAZING. Or if you’re ready to “splurge” Mary Lou-Manizer, that one is much more white though.

I think what this eyeshadow line at Kiko tries is to beat Mac’s multidimensional eyeshadows, but it is nowhere near that!
First of all, I really was attracted to all of them, these were first eyeshadows I ran to in the store. But all of them left nothing but lots of glitter on my face and hands where I swatched it.
I think that the entire idea behind these formulations is that the glitter/shimmer is so fine that once it is wet it should give that rich metallic almost finish to the eye that is nowhere cheap or chalky.
Kiko fails at this and there is in-depth review on some other brand’s products that I think is worth reading before you pay for Kiko products. Link here.

This became my to go eyeshadow! I’m not a huge fan of e/s as most of them look like I’ve got too much makeup going on, but neutrals, pinks and salmons look great. I have brown eyes with a tad of green in it.
Pink Flamingo is such a pretty color you wouldn’t believe it. It is satiny, highly pigmented and doesn’t have any glitter in it. The picture shows it pretty much correct on my monitor.
It compliments my skin tone and I’m sure would compliment any as I’ve used it on my super pale sister and on myself while being very tan. Makes brown eyes pop too! I apply it in the crease and just above it, then highlighter under the brow and the middle color (UD Sin) in between to blend the two.
The packaging is super nice and neat, has the mirror in it too. And there’s a GOOD amount of product in this little box so I’ll not need to repurchase very soon even if I continue to use it every day as I do now.
Other colors in the range are super pretty too.
