I really enjoy this liquid shadow. It is really pigmented and applies very easily. I wear them all the time since I don’t have time to do eyeshadow everyday. So I just pop this all over my lids. I had this when it was in an old packaging and thought it wasn’t that good but I think they reformulated or the change in packaging preserves the formula. My friend got me a new one and I absolutely love it! I recommended to all my friends and they also love it!

Love the idea, not the product. A blendable, smooth lotion-type shadow with a doe foot applicator would be such a functional makeup bag mainstay.
Unfortunately, these shadows have three major downfalls:
-poor lasting power
-visible sparkles/glitter that sticks around when the pigment doesn’t
-compromises liner
I have the Dove Grey and champagne-toned shades, as well as the bronze. They look decent for about two hours and fade fast. Unfortunately, if it’s anywhere near liner, it either smears it off if you apply afterwards and prevents it from adhering properly if you put it on after. I haven’t had this issue with other cream/liquid shadows.
The major annoyance is the glitter. Why?? It looks cheap and not mature enough for daytime. It’s especially unfortunate when I have no pigment left and I have sparkles left.
If this had better lasting power and was shimmery without glitter, I would be a devotee.
Maybe I’m being unfair and should keep trying…or wear it for a few hours on a night out?
Try the new Make Up For Ever Aqua XL cream shadows if you’re looking for a quick, flattering, buildable and bulletproof shadow. I’m having much better luck with with those.
UPDATE: Nope, can’t make this work, even with primers. So sad, since it’s a great idea. The picture above illustrates what happens. I applied the Dove Grey shade, which applies beautifully and is rich in pigment. I let it dry and set. I very gently rub it about 5 minutes later and all that is left are noticeable sparkles. Too bad! It’s even worse on my lids, which can be oily or watery. MUFE Aqua XL wins out.
If the lasting power and sparkles were fixed, I would definitely buy.
