I dont understand the hype around Lime Ceime shadows. I found the color payoff to be nonexistent with this palette, while the fallout was all but unavoidable. I tried primers, foiling, still couldnt get this palette to work. For the price, I would rather get a few colourpop or nyx shadows that perform better, just wothout the cute packaging.

There are three colour-ways in the Venus XS quad range; Rose Gold, Gold and Silver. The silver quad contains; Crescent [warm grey matte], Sterling [shiny silver shimmer], Plated [deep grey matte] and Luminous [gunmetal shimmer]. You can easily make several different looks out of the included shades.
I’m really into this more compact type of palette now, where things are multi-purpose and most of the shades are focused around a theme; a palette that doesn’t waste lots of it’s space (and therefore our money) by including several of the same kind of basic highlight/crease/transition shades that the average makeup lover already has many times over – I’m sure that we all have plenty of neutral shades that we love in other palettes, that we can use in conjunction with this palette to make it go further. I’d say that the shadows in here are similar to the ones in Lime Crime’s smaller Venus palettes; buttery smooth, easy to blend, great to mix together to create new shades and they have next to no fallout. All of the shadows are non-fading, and I haven’t experienced any creasing – I apply them in the morning [no primer] and they’ll still look good in the evening, when I remove it. The sparkle shades have a bit more fallout in comparison to the other shadows which have very little, which isn’t a dealbreaker for me but I still thought I’d mention it. Fallout in shadows doesn’t really bother me as I do my eyes before my base – all pigmented & softer shadows have fallout, so I do think that all good-quality shadows should kick-up a bit.
The only downside for me is that the Venus palettes I own contain shadow shades that appeal to me all year round, whereas I tend to only reach for Venus XS Silver during autumn/winter, but that downside is personal taste, rather then product quality.
