The Rose Gold Venus XS quad contains; Divinity [rose gold shimmer], Charm [deep rose shimmer], Angelic [warm nude-pink matte] and Eternal [pinky mauve matte].
I have all three XS quads and whilst I’ve enjoyed all of them, Rose Gold has emerged as my most worn and my favourite – the shades work for every season, they look good on all skintones, you can easily make several different looks out of the included shades. I have no complaints with the formula (easy to work with and it wears well all through a working day), and I think that the formulas in it perform just as well as those in Venus I, II XL and XL2 [I find Venus III to perform slightly differently].
It was a short review today; I just have no issues with quality of this product, think that the shades are very wearable, and I enjoy the quad format of it, as not only is it great alone, but it is a great way to expand another Venus palette for looks – it beats spending more on a larger palette, where you might not like all of the shades .

I got the Rose Gold palette for my sister for a xmas gift. After she opened it, I asked her to let me swatch it and I was super underwhelmed. I felt bad too, giving her a gift and then realizing the product isn’t very good.
Later on I did her makeup using the palette and it was virtually impossible to make the pigment show up. The shimmers were completely useless, I tried using my finger and then using a brush wet with setting spray, terrible pay off either way. The mattes were okayish, not very pigmented. Chalky and pressed too firmly in my opinion. Hard to get it out of the pan onto the brush, and then impossible to get it from the brush onto the lid nicely.
I can’t speak for the 2 other colourways for the XS palettes, but I have the Venus I and Venus III and the shadows in the larger palettes perform MUCH MUCH better than the XS.
