I was looking for a fun turquoise shadow that I could use as a liner that wasn’t expensive and this fit the bill perfectly. I was looking at UD shadows but I hate to spend that much money for something that I won’t use everyday. After looking at some reviews I decided to try this one for it was only $2.50. I wore it today with WnW nutty and I’m very impressed with the pigmentation of this one! Now I always wear primer, the WnW Fergie one, and this stays bright and true all day. I have tried other brightly colored DS shadows only to be disappointed for they were so sheer. This one isn’t at all and I highly recommend it. So fun!!

Not pigmented at all without a primer on my NC20 skin (haven’t tried it with a primer yet). The packaging was a little bit hard to open at first, but I guess that means it’s pretty sturdy.

I was browsing the makeup section when I saw this shade, and was instantly drawn to it. I used it today for the first time, and while I still think it is an absolute GORGEOUS shade, it’s not for me. It went on smoothly and very pigmented, although later in the day it seemed to have worn off somewhat. (It was hot today though!) My main problem is that it’s just too dark for my taste. It makes my eyes look small and my skin harsh. I can imagine this would look perfect on someone with bigger eyes and a darker skin tone than me though. Cover Girl is still my tried-and-true favorite in eye shadow, so even though the shade isn’t for me, it’s still a good quality product. It’s worth a try, and it may still work for me as a crease color or layered with something lighter, so I would recommend it!

Anyone who says this eyeshadow isn’t pigmented enough must not be using an eyeshadow primer. I find this shadow to be VERY pigmented (shocking for a drugstore shadow) when used over Urban Decay Primer Potion. I’ll post an EOTD pic with this shadow on the lid and Rock & Republic Denim in the crease. Turquoise Tempest is a gorgeous, rich medium aqua color that goes well with my NC40-42 skin – very pretty and perfect for a bright summer eyeshadow look!

while the other “bright” CG eyeshadows kinda disappointed me with their lack of pigment and general umph, this one is great! it’s a beautiful turquoise shade, very mermaidy 🙂 I’d definitely buy it again.

as noted by the prior reviewer this is a lovely turqouise color.
sorry to say tho, the pigmentation is terrible and the only way to get it to really apply well and stay on is to apply it with a wet sponge.. and then reapply.
too much trouble for muas.

This eye shadow is very pigmented. Its very good for lining the top or bottom lash lines for an extra ‘pop’ of color. It is a great eyeshadow for the famous Elizabeth Taylor ‘Cleopatra’ turquoise eye makeup look- Its a popular look for Halloween, and you can find lots of tutorials on youtube for it. I can’t say its the best color for all eyes and I never wear it. But overall, its a good eyeshadow.

Honestly, I think you have to have the right skin colour for this product for it to not be disappointed as some people are.
I have tannish/brown skin and the blue really pops with my brown eyes.
When I was buying something at the counter wearing this the cosmetic lady at the counter complemented me so much about how good it looked on me with my skin tone.
I really like it for the cheap price.

I saw this and thought it was the prettiest color. I bought it right away and played with it. It is ok, not as bright as I would have liked, and I think it is an odd color with my skin and eyes, I have only actually wore it maybe twice outside of my house (ie not playing around with make up). It sits in my case looking beautiful but I just can’t seem to make it work for me. But I love the color so much I can’t give it up yet, thankfully it was only a few dollars at my Target.

I bought this product last week and I’ve used it twice. And it is AMAZING. Mine is very, very pigmented and it applies as it looks on the package. I also used it as eyeliner to make a cat eye with it and it looked so nice, summery and different. I love this line .
