This palette really caught my eye because it’s so beautiful, the cover art and the colors themselves are stunning. I’m cool toned and tend to stick wearing cool tones almost exclusively but this was so gorgeous and has everything going for it so after months of wanting it I bought it…. The shadows are excellent quality and super pigmented (I’m very pale but these colors will show up and pop amazingly on dark skin, that’s literally what they are made for) and the pans are quite large… You’re getting a lot of product for only 20$… they could charge more and I would have paid it. Not only is the package beautifully decorated it’s also sturdy but slim and doesn’t show fingerprints (something I personally hate) or much wear and tear and doesn’t have a mirror (that’s a plus, I never use mirrors in palettes). I love that JP is a black owned business, it’s important to support POC in the beauty industry. JP is so much nicer than say Kylie or Colourpop….

This was my very first Juvia’s Place palette and at $20 who can complain about the price! Firstly, the packaging is very beautiful and comes with huge eyeshadow pans. It does not, however, have a mirror, but I am not bothered about that as I have plenty of mirrors. I found the mattes in this palette very easy to pick up. They have little kick up in the pan and no fallout on application. The metallics I found to be a little harder to pick up with a brush unless it was wet. In my experience with this palette the metallic shades are easiest to pick up with either a wet brush or your finger. I also noticed that the metallics would flake in the pan on pick up if I was not gentle, but that they did not leave fallout on my face when applying. They also held up well, surviving an accidental nap and even some sweaty summer days.
For some reason after many months of use I have started having issues with the metallic shades flaking off of my eyes while wearing them, which is not an issue I have had with any other Juvia’s palette. I am not sure what is causing this, but different brushes (or use of a finger to apply) have made no difference in the longevity on the eyes unfortunately. My only other criticism is the lack of mattes in the palette. There are only three mattes and six metallics, which many will find hard to work with. Overall I do think this is a good palette and would recommend it to others, but I would warn them about the issues I have had with the metallics.

I own several Juvias Olace palettes now and the pigmentation is fantastic. The shadows are soft and buttery and apply like a dream. The only thing that miffs me is why do the British consumer have to pay more than the American counterpart? I think it’s unfair and until prices become more in line I won’t be purchasing anything else from this brand. Btw I’ve purchased 4 palettes in total so I’ve spent a good deal.

I’d heard a lot of great things about Juvia’s Place eyeshadows from various YouTubers so when they went on sale both on the Juvia’s Place website and Ulta’s website I decided it was a perfect time to try them! I love supporting smaller businesses and especially one as worthy of the praise as Juvia’s Place. This was just one of the various palettes I ordered directly from Juvia’s Place. Shipping was free on purchases $50 and over and I felt that very fair. Plus, shipping was super quick AND extremely well done as there was plenty of bubble wrap not only in the box itself but around each palette within it’s own box. It was very effective and something Ulta could learn a lesson from!!!!
As for the palette itself, I found the eyeshadows to be of excellent quality. They blended well, stayed well with a good eyeshadow primer and I thought it was an excellent blend of shimmery/metallic shades vs. matte shades. It’s pretty much what it presents itself to be, a neutral/warm metallic gold toned palette and I personally thought every shade worked well with my olive green eye color.
Overall, I was very impressed with my first foray into Juvia’s Place eyeshadow palettes and I would definitely be interested in trying other eyeshadow palettes from Juvia’s Place. LOVE!!!!

Oh my goodness I LIVE for this palette!!! The eyeshadows oh my the eyeshadows. They are so pigmented on this melanin skin. Plus it’s black owned yes gurl. I am in LOVE with the golds. There’s a gold for everyday. Kano is basically my skin color so I can use it as a nude. I have dark circles and yes even my eyelids are dark so I love this!!! Yes yes yes. It was worth splurging 20$ which is a bit too much for me but it was WORTH IT. I can’t wait to get another!!!

These shadows are so buttery and pigmented, its a steal for under $20! I love a good one and done shadow look on quick days, and this palette gives me that, and is versatile enough to be used for simple to glamorous looks. There’s very little to no fallout even though these ahadows are so smooth..I wish they’d come out with some more palettes in more neutral tones, because I’d like some more, but don’t wear rainbow colors like most of the other color stories..I do love a blush palette and single blush I have from this line as well..just great quality.

I bought The Warrior Eyeshadow Palette from Juvia’s Place and I love it. It’s a palette full of warm shades of browns, bronzes, coppers and golds that are mostly shimmery but can easily be worn during the day and long into the night and would never clash with any shade of lipstick at all.
The Warrior Eyeshadow Palette from Juvia’s Place is even more pigmented than the MTHRSHP Sublime Bronze Ambition Palette from Pat McGrath Labs so you don’t need to use too much of The Warrior palette’s shadows whenever you’re using them which means that they should be rather long-lasting and worth every penny.
The only thing that this eyeshadow palette is missing is a mirror but none of the Juvia’s Place palettes ever come with mirrors.
I recommend this palette for anyone who has warm undertones in their skin but I can see this eyeshadow palette looking suitable on a number of different skin tones either way.
