These palettes live up the the hype. Nubian is an extremely pigmented, buttery soft mix of warm matte and metallic shades. I would definitely rebuy but I suspect I won’t have to for a very long time as the pans are generously sized.

One of the best eyeshadows on the market. The pigmentation is ridiculously beautiful. I always reach for this palette when I need a good “pop”. I did not find it, however, to be as easy to blend as others did. I usually reach for another palette for everyday and Juvias for a special weekend look when I have more time to blend properly.

If you really like warm neutrals, this palette is worth the price tag. They also seem to have sales on their palettes all the damn time so I’d suggest waiting for one of those. The colours are pigmented, they blend well, and they aren’t overly soft (i.e. not a lot of fall out!). They also have awesome packaging when they ship these (bubble wrap IN the product box and around it) to make sure everything is nicely padded.
I would like to see more mattes in their palettes. There are a ton of shimmer/glitter options but the practicality of life is that I typically dip into matte shadows far more than shimmers on a day-to-day basis. I did hear a rumour that they were coming out with a matte palette so if that’s the case, I’m probably making another order soon.
If you like the colours, I’d definitely give it a shot.

one of the best warm palette i ever have
formulation is amazing, it’s very opaque, very pigmented, easy to blend, so creamy
very POC friendly imo, my friend with darker skin tone enjoyed this palette as well
price point is great for such amazing quality
i found myself reaching for this palette whenever i want to do some warm looks on my eyes
packaging is fine, if only there’s mirror on it

I was in search of a quality warm palette and I’ve been on a mission to support black owned business before all others, so Juvia’s place was definitely right on time. I’d heard about this brand via Stephanie Nicole and a few of my sisters own their products and love them so I figured I’d give it a shot. I am so glad I did! By far the best palette I own – I find myself reaching for it regularly. The shadows are soft, super pigmented and very easy to blend. The fallout is minimal and the shades are just gorgeous. It’s a nice mix of warm and nude with both matte and shimmer shades. The distribution is pretty equal – about half are matte and the other are shimmer. They wear very well without primer (I don’t use primer ever) and don’t crease or fade. I can get at least 10 hours of wear from these shadows. I absolutely love the packaging and it feels good knowing my money is being spent uplifting and growing a black owned business and business owner. I will definitely repurchase!

I am very late to the Juvia’s Place palette party – but I am doing the Snoopy dance of excitement now that I am here!
Wow, just wow… The Nubian palette is one of the best (if not the best IMO) nude/neutral palette on the market. For me, this def. out-performs UD Naked, Tarte Lorac Unzipped, and my beloved Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette. I find myself reaching for this constantly on days where I am going for a simple, work-place appropriate look. The pigmentation on these shadows are outrageous! The mattes are incredibly smooth and the shimmers are so buttery and opaque it’s unreal. I get zero fallout from these and no creasing or muddying of colors. The packaging is to die for – in a full disclosure of honesty, I purchased JP palettes (3 so far now) solely on the basis of artwork (I do collect palettes). I was beyond pleasantly surprised by the quality of these shadows.
If you’re a neutral lover I HIGHLY suggest you pick this up!
