This is my favorite palette ever, and I want to review it in case anyone else is in my category: low contrast coloring. I have low contrast coloring, which means my hair color and skin color are not too different from each other. No big contrast. My coloring is like Jennifer Aniston’s: can you imagine her in bold, colorful eyeshadow? No way, it’d be unflattering. You may think the shades in this palette are not exciting. But if you swatch them, you see subtle satin finishes, or that some lean towards “green” or “gray” or “golden”. If you are low contrast, these colors appear *more* colorful on the eyes. If you have never been able to use more than 3 pans in a large palette like this, maybe you are also low contrast… try this one or at least swatch it. I am older than 35, my eyelids have “texture” (ugh) and the subtle shimmers are very flattering and don’t accentuate texture, so this is also great for textured lids.
