I love the Burberry cosmetics line. This is probably my favorite eyeshadow from the line. It’s not terribly exciting looking in the pan but once applied it’s really gorgeous. I think my skin tone is pretty neutral with a slight lean towards warm. This shows cool toned on me. Can be paired with many different colors which is nice. Great with a nude lip!

A really fantastic deep dark brown shade that I use on my outer V; asian eyes, so outer V is V important! I pair this with wash of Almond (Burberry Eyeshadow #6) all over the lid to blend the colour out into a haze, and Pale Barley (Burberry Eyeshadow #26) on the brow bone, and inner V.
It’s long-lasting power is also a testament to this quality – I have very oily lids which usually require a heap of eyeshadow primer. However, I tried this eyeshadow on without any primer and it stayed on for 15 hours; no smudging.
The quality of this eyeshadow is just fantastic – buttery and smooth with a depth that makes this stupidly expensive eyeshadow worth it.

I just received a shipment of Burberry products – the first I’ve ever tried, and so far I am incredibly impressed. I’ve tried (from my purchases thus far) Trench eye shadow, a luminizer called Fresh Glow and this Taupe Brown eye shadow. I am incredibly impressed by the natural beauty of the colors (they are all designed to create a very natural look – no crazy colors), and specifically for the shadows I think the texture is amazing. They are buttery and surprisingly pigmented – I thought this color would apply lighter than it did, but one quick swipe with the brush really placed a lot of color in the crease (I was going for a natural look with Trench all over the lid and this color as a crease color). This is a matte shade, and I have a feeling that the combo is about to become a new daily favorite. The case is really luxurious, with a nice heft and subtle magnetic closure. I can’t wait to use the products more, and to try the third shade I purchased (as well as purchase more!). I would highly recommend this shade, and the eye shadows in general. *Quick edit* After looking more closely, this shade has the slightest touch of shimmer. Oh, and I want to emphasize it is a very pigmented shade – in stark contrast to Nars, it took the smallest dip of my shadow brush to create a really great crease line.
