I had just got this palette today and had been playing with a lot of the colors testing on how I should work with them. Some of the colors blend better than others, and some are more pigmented than others. All the colors are all buildable and once blended look super nice. I recommend a unset base it helps the colors be more pigmented and blend together. Overall it’s not a bad product you just have to play and manipulate the shadows and learn to work with them and it’s actually a really good pigmented.

I didn’t like this palette at all, but I don’t know what I expected for the price. These colors looked so vibrant and beautiful in the palette, but they barely showed up when actually applied, and even with eyelid primer and setting spray, they faded off my face very quickly. I tried applying these with a damp brush to get a bolder color, tried them with Inglot Duraline, tried scraping the colors a bit with an X-acto blade to get more concentrated powder… nothing! This palette was a huge disappointment and a waste of money.
I purchased this palette before I had the sense to research makeup swatches online, so silly me, I thought the colors would actually be true to how they looked in the palette! No but really, if you want bright neon colors, go with another brand and spend the few extra bucks. Morphe Brushes has some great bright stuff, as well as Colourpop and NYX. This palette comes in a lovely container and looks wonderful, but to be blunt, it’s garbage. I don’t even think I could give this away because it’s so crappy. It’s about on the same level of quality as those little makeup kits for kids. I can’t speak for any of BH Cosmetics’ other products, but this one was a dud.

Cheap teeny bopper eyeshadow. Used with the following primers: Inglot, MAC, Lauder, Milani, NYX and Tarte. Colors fade within an hour. People ask “is this a no makeup day?” After I’ve applied 3-4 colors and carefully blended my eyes look bare! Where does it go? I have two more BH palettes and they are all crap. Stick with NYX or Milani they are superb, BH doesn’t know how to make eyeshadow.

I got this as a gift and I love the shades!
it’s pretty pigmented although I have noticed a few in here aren’t quite as pigmented as the others, get your brush a bit wet and its pretty pigmented. the only thing I didn’t really like was there isn’t really any red reds. There is one red/orange which works.
definitely smaller than expected but I’m okay with that especially since I got it almost half off.

Packaging: Is a lot smaller than i expected which is a bonus for storage & travelling. But then does mean the pan sizes are very small! Comes with a cardboard sleeve which i think is just a waste of paper.
Price: Is one of the cheaper colourful eyeshadow palettes.
Product: The shadows do swatch really chalky & not that pigmented but when they are on the eyes it is a different story! Blends so well & the colours are so bright! The formula does feel bit dry not really a creamy / buttery feeling i would compare to Morphe eyeshadow formula in the 350 palette. There is some eyeshadows which could have been removed from the palette as they just aren’t needed. The 2 highlighter shades at the bottom are also chalky but the greenish holographic one looks surprisingly amazing on the brow bone & tear duct. I would purchase again but i want to try Morphe’s 35B palette

Just for comparison I enjoy too face, melt cosmetics, profusion and bare minerals eyeshadows. I hate tarte and urban decay. Just i case you like similar brands. I am picky about eyeshadow I don’t have time to build up color all day or blend for hours. So that being said I like this palette. I wanted a colorful pallete just to play around with at home for fun. This is perfect for that. Some shades are better than others but they all work and blend easily. All pigmented. I managed to make my first colorful Eye love that wasn’t hideous !! Worth it if you want some colors but if you already have a rainbow palette you don’t need this

Colors look very pretty and bright and go on smooth and blend nicely. However, I was hoping for a much stronger color payoff. You really have to wet it or go over several of the colors a few times to get them to stand out. The two highlighters are nice but again not very bold. The pans are really small but the palette itself is pretty and has a nice mirror inside. Application is better using your fingers rather than a brush for some reason. All in all ok for the money. If you use setting spray and primer it will last all day and seems very gentle to the skin.

There was a time when the difference between inexpensive eye shadow and high end was noticeable. If you are a certain age you may shy away from inexpensive shadows fear of poor wear, poor pigmentation, and creasing. I’m happy to report the colors on this apply vivid, and rich. They don’t crease or fade after a couple hours. 9-10 hours in and there is some minor wear but the colors are still bright. The price is a steal, and BH is always having sales making this even more affordable. The individual pans are small compared to other BH palettes and compared to Morphe palettes. Fall out is minimal, I was kind of expecting there to be more fallout as my Morphe shadows leave a lot. Head to head I’d say BH beats Morphe, not just less fallout but BH has a wider selection of shades in their palettes. Morphe palettes can be a bit redundant. Back to Brazil is a variety of brights, that would look good on light to dark tones. I’m somewhat fair and sometimes bright colors can be a bit much, but these looked nice. With such a variety of shades it’s easy to create a multitude of different looks. i also like that similar shades are placed together, so it’s easy to eye what works. I would but again, these really are good quality and blend nicely.

So I was on the fence about buying this since I’m a palette collector and at the time had just bought a few and was deciding between this and the Festival palette. I still want the Festival palette. I purchased mine from a Facebook Makeup sale group for a great affordable price and it was only used 1-2 times. It was like new. this palette comes in a great sturdy cardboard palette with a decent and usable mirror inside. Also the Logo and labeling and design is very eye catching and makes it look awesome. I like the whole scene and writing style. Colorful and not tacky. I don’t mind packaging bc what happens on the inside is what counts. The shadows are absolutely perfect. The shadows are pressed well with very little kick up which I expect out of pressed pigments, they tend to contain less clay binders. The pigmentation is great. shows up true to color, pigmented and easy to blend. don’t missy together.
