I have several things from Colourpop that are similar to this in one way or another, but they rarely make something that looks the same as something else they have – there’s always some kind of small difference. So, naturally… I had to have this too…
It is a relatively light, BRIGHT purple with lots of teal shimmer – when I wear it, it almost lights up against my skin. I have NC20, yellow olive skin, normal skin type. In the pictures I’m wearing an orangy brown in the crease – this shadow blends out to a purple, not an orange color. My husband thinks it looks really pretty! It’s hard to say what season I would recommend this for, but I guess spring and summer, although I like it in the winter too.
The texture is really creamy and the color is half-opaque. No need for primer under this for me – the shimmers manage to stick to my skin throughout the day and the color doesn’t fade either. Because this isn’t fully opaque I feel it’s easy to blend and to put on. The texture isn’t too dry and it spreads easily.
I really like this one! I don’t know whether I would buy it again, but I definitely don’t regret the purchase 🙂 If you like fun purples, I think this is a good choice. This is what I wanted the purple in the Make Up Ur Mind-palette to be
