I’ve really fallen in love with Colourpop lately – I do believe they’re going to be my go-to source for eyeshadow now, and the Super Shock Eyeshadows helped seal that deal for me. This is a strange product – the texture is something between a powder and a cream, I can’t quite describe it. It goes on vibrant and true to the color you see in the container, and unlike some cream eyeshadows I’ve tried that tug on the eyelids or are tacky or never actually dry, this goes on smooth like powder. They last quite some time (at least with setting spray and primer) and my only gripe is they’re a little hard to blend, but it’s to be expected given it’s not a fully dry powder. Certainly not a big enough problem to make me dislike them.
I have three of these in the shades “Animal,” “Brady,” and “Elixir” and I love all three and hope to get a few more sometime. Just a beautiful product with a HUGE range of colors with both matte and shimmery options. I lean more toward nude/neutral and peach eyeshadows, but they offer neon shades, nude shades, blues, greens, reds and everything in between. If you want a particular color, I’ll bet they have it.
You definitely won’t be disappointed with one of the Super Shock Shadows.

I have around 40 of these. They come in 5 different finishes, as far as I know- matte, satin, metallic, glitter and ultra glitter. The metallic and ultra glitters I have are great, but some of the regular glitter ones have fallout. However: there’s also a texture difference between different colors, depending on how much pigment the color needs to show up, the opacity, the types of pigments, and more. Basically: with some finishes it’s not easy to guess what you will get.
On my normal skin, these stay all day after I’ve applied them, with no creasing. The exception is the glitter shades. My husband usually doesn’t notice my makeup that much, but he has commented a few timed when I wore the glitters that “… Your face is… sparkly”. And yes, those times, most of the glitter had ended up on my face after just a couple of hours of wear (Sailor has been the worst). Basically: I would recommend looking at reviews for the particular color when choosing one, and preferably, the reviews should not be from the Colourpop site, as I’ve often found myself disagreeing with them. Bloggers or reviews here are more reliable, I feel

I bought 2 of these shadows , as I heard rave reviews and decided, hey they’re cheap! why not try them out?
I put the shade “fluffy” on my eyes and in about 2 hours it creased, even with primer. It also crumbled onto my face leaving glitter all around my eyes. It’s fallout city.
In my opinion , it is all hype.
I’ve tried the liquid lipstick from them and those are great. They last all day and don’t crumble or get bunched up. The lip glosses are also very good and are not sticky , they also last a long time on the lips.
However I tried the semi precious pallete from them and it was so bad , it was again , fallout city. I tossed it.
I don’t like their eyeshadows whatsoever, they are not worth the cheap price.
However the lip products from them are ABSOLUTELY worth it.

I bought a bunch of these after reading reviews on them. I was amazed at the price so I ordered six of them. I was super excited when I receive them as they looked wonderful in the package.
They were super pigmented and beautiful when I swatched them on my hands for a YT video. Then I decided to do a full eye look using them and it went downhill quickly from there.
They do not go on well at all with a brush. When using a brush there is no pigment at all. They do not blend well at all either, so trying to do a full look is nearly impossible. They only go on well when applied with a finger. So I had to apply them with fingertips and try to blend the other colors with a brush.
Also, I received one of them broken which was disappointing. I like the effect and finish of these but wish they were easier to use with a brush.

I brought a ton of these and liked the colors but they have problems. They start out a bouncy moussey playdough like texture that goes on a cream and dries to a powder. But they dry up hard and become useless REALLY fast. After a short time they don’t pick up well, go on patchy, don’t blend well, loose their pigment, and the glitter ones stop sticking well to the eyes and fallout everywhere. It does depend on the finish though. The mattes and satins dry out the quickest, like in only a FEW MONTHS they harden up and stop working. The Ultra-Glitters I like much better, I’ve been able to get 18 months – 2 years. Although as the Ultra Glitters age they really need glitter glue to get them to stay ON the eye and not go everywhere (they stay put really well when newly purchased). I’ve noticed alot of You-tubers say theirs dry out too, and many just declutter drawfuls of Super Shocks as they are sick of them drying up. Next time I’ll stick to buying the palettes. I’d consider buying an Ultra Glitter if it was a really special shade but I won’t stock up. I recommend just buying a few for the season knowing as they dry out so fast.

These are my favorite Colourpop shadows. I bought the Zingara set which consists of four shades. The lightest are Jinxie a pale golden shimmering formula and Elixir, which is a medium terracotta shade. The other two shades are deep and dramatic, one is rich cranberry called Paradox and the other is a dark reddish brown called Seeker. I like to wear these with more sheer coverage and build upon as necessary. What I love about these is they work great for me WITHOUT primer. They don’t feel dry on my eyelids and don’t settle in lines. Jinxie is a great base that gleams with a warm glow. I can change the look completely depending on which other color I accent with. The darker colors make excellent liners and can be blended to create several shades from each color. I’ve just ordered five others in more neutral shades and I know I will love them. I store mine in a tightly sealed plastic bag because I’ve heard they can dry out.

I have these in mittens, dgaf, on the rocks, trois, elixir, and toat… These are absolutely amazing, they last so long, their pigmentation is incredible, it’s so easy to apply and blend… Will continue to purchase time and time again

I don’t normally write reviews I just go on here to read them but I just had to write about this new find. ColourPop Super Shock Eye Shadows are AMAZING! I mean serious. I I found them on Insta and I am shocked they are not yet listed on makeup alley. Super pigmented and a creamy/bouncy texture kind of like the Chanel illusion d’ombre eye shadows (that are super expensive). These shadows are only $5 dollars each. That was not a typo.
