My favourite Colourpop eyeshadow by far. You absolutely have to use your fingers with this formula, or it won’t work. Now, with a finger, this is the most beautiful cool toned gold with champagne glitter! Beware, these do dry out quickly, and hit pan quickly due to the small amount of product.

I bought a bunch of these after reading reviews on them. I was amazed at the price so I ordered six of them. I was super excited when I receive them as they looked wonderful in the package.
They were super pigmented and beautiful when I swatched them on my hands for a YT video. Then I decided to do a full eye look using them and it went downhill quickly from there.
They do not go on well at all with a brush. When using a brush there is no pigment at all. They do not blend well at all either, so trying to do a full look is nearly impossible. They only go on well when applied with a finger. So I had to apply them with fingertips and try to blend the other colors with a brush.
Also, I received one of them broken which was disappointing. I like the effect and finish of these but wish they were easier to use with a brush.

The Super Shock shadows from ColourPop are usually $5, a very reasonably price. I purchased this one used for $3.60. The shadow has a soft, cream-like feel and it will crumble if you press it a little too hard. The color, which is a glittery champagne, swatches beautifully and it is very sparkly and reflective. Surprisingly, I had a difficult time trying to pick up the product with a brush and with my finger. Regardless of your choice of tool for application there will be a lot of fallout and crumbling. I found that using a finger to apply was easier. A wet brush was the easiest way to pick up the product, but it did not apply any better and it still had a lot of flaking on the eye. While it crumbles immediately on application, whatever shadow you can get to stay on your eyes will last through the day. It is possible that I got a dud that was dried out, but I would prefer not to spend even $5 on one of these when it was such a pain to apply. I will not repurchase this shadow.
