Each shade is beautiful and surprisingly long-lasting. These can be worn on their own, or on top of other shadows to glam them up a little. The size of the palette does frustrate me quite a bit (it’s awful for traveling), and you do have to be careful not to use too much pressure on the pans, as the product crumbles easily and gets everywhere. I’ve also found that the shades are a little difficult to combine if you use more than one in your look. That said, I am happy that I purchased this, and I’ve already worn it quite a bit.

When Make Up For Ever recently released the Star Lit Glitter Shadow Palette I had to purchase this. It feature six glitters some of which are duo chromatic and some which are more opaque glitter shadows. I was a little disappointed when the palette arrived because two of the glitters shifted (or shrank?) during shipping and are falling out of the pan so I’ll have to exchange this. Some of the glitters are just that: glitters. Some of these glitters are encased in a more opaque shadow. These are all very beautiful and I love the duo chrome and more opaque colors. These wear well, last all day with a primer, have little to no fall out, and are very buildable as well. I have a love-hate relationship with Make Up For Ever eye shadows, the singles usually don’t work well for me but their eye shadow palettes are usually much better for me. If you are looking for some nice glitter shadows and don’t mind the price tag then the Star Lit Glitter Palette is worth checking out. My more detailed review and swatches can be seen here:
