I bought quite a few of them, and they still perform great. It’s effortless to create beautiful looks by just using your fingers or the double-ended applicator. A little secret.. you can create stunning eye makeup looks with every single palette; some are more pigmented, and others aren’t if they don’t stay on for a long time look at first on how you apply them before you judge the palette. And nobody needs a makeup that stays on for 24hr that’s just bullshit marketing to suck your guys in! If you are thinking of buying them or if you already have them, here is a video.

I have two of these quads, a brown and rose based one, not sure of names. They are very reasonably priced, and with a 3 for 2 offer at Boots even more so. The colours blend nicely , although you need a good primer if your eye make up is going to last. The glitter shade in each is quite scary, only for occasional use. The glitter itself is quite chunky and fall out is an issue. For everyday use the three main colours are all you need.

I’ve been riding the multiple pan palette hype for as long as I can remember, and I never really considered quads to be essential or particularly interesting, but I saw Lisa Eldridge using this little gem and found the results to be wonderful, so when I saw it on a 50% off discount, I decided to give it a shot.
The shade I own is 05 Good Nude, and it consists of a taupey shimmer shade, a darker brown for the crease, and an almost black brown to be used as a liner, as well as a glittery shade in the middle. The applicator that comes with it is nice – I know that brushes are pretty much the norm atm, but I love me a spongetip applicator, especially when I’m in a rush.
I have to say, this little unassuming gem blew me away entirely!! The shades blend together beautifully and seamlessly, and are pretty much foolproof – if you’re new to eyeshadow, or want to have a premade smoky eye in a box for travel or days when you’re in a rush, this is exactly what you need. I even applied these with my fingers in a pinch and the results were nice.
I have several gripes with this product, but the pros outweigh the cons so severely I didn’t even bother to take a lippy off.
First of all, the glitter tends to fall out everywhere, so I use it carefully – it sometimes even ends up on the other three pans.
The second is that the shades last only a few hours without primer. I use a cheap primer by Artdeco, and it fixes the problem – I’ve worn the look through a workout and it didn’t budge.

I’m surprised this one doesn’t have more reviews. I also have this eyeshadow in Over Rose and it’s so pretty! I always get exited when I find a good drugstore eyeshadow since I find eyeshadows are the one item drugstore lines get wrong the most often and this one is REALLY good – very buttery formula, good colour payoff, good blendability. It’s probably the first drugstore quad that’s ever really impressed me. Colour scheme is very ‘Chanel’ which isn’t too suprising since Bourjois owns Chanel. I really wish this company didn’t sell to China though – for some reason I assumed they did not.

This is a really great little eyeshadow palette for travelling, or just for days when you want to make things quick and easy for yourself. I have it in 02 Over Rose, with which you can create a really effortless, warmer smoky eye. That to me is the main selling point with this product: you truly are able to create a full look with it. You’ve got your lid shade, your shadow/crease, your definer and then a glittery highlight. The latter intimidates me a little bit with the huge chunks of glitter, but it actually looks better than I imagined it would when used carefully in the corner of the eye. Still, I could do without it, and I would’ve preferred if they just put a shimmery shade in to brighten instead. The light all over lid shadow I find a little bit chalky, but the crease and the definer have a lovely texture and blends really well. The shadow colour is probably the best shade out of the bunch, I really like the purple/brown shade and will probably reach for it as a crease colour for other looks that don’t involve the rest of the shadows from this palette.
The packaging I like a lot, it’s pretty unique as far as drugstore eyeshadow palettes goes, and to me it looks way more expensive than it is. My one problem with it is with the brand itself rather than the product – Bourjois isn’t cruelty free (as they sell in mainland China). Had they been CF, like I thought they were when I purchased this, I wouldn’t have minded re-purchasing or picking up another shade.
