Sadly VS has DC most of their makeup (except lipglosses & nail polishes). I had the e/s single in Icy which was a gorg frosty white. It was 1 of my all time fave white e/s n I had to go thru a lot to get it coz I couldn’t find it online & it seemed like ev time I went to either VS store in the city that it was sold out. I finally got it & used it until it got gross in the compact & I had to toss it but I never got a chance to replace it which suxxxxx I really, really hope that VS doesn’t DC the Beauty Rush glosses & I don’t buy much nail polish so at this rate I will own 3/4 of the BR glosses if they don’t start coming out w more n on a regular basis. I hope they change their mind about the makeup & reintroduce it!! This eyeshadow was gr8. It was so shimmery & opaque lotsa big glitter particles intermixed in a frost. A really unique shade of white coz it was iridescent n simply beautiful.

I have about 5-6 of these and each and every single one has been a fail. I consider myself very experienced with eyeshadow and these disappoint. They are so beautiful in the pan but quality is lacking. They have a creamy type of consistency and usually eyeshadows of that texture apply smoothly and are pigmented but for some reason, these are opposite. All of them lack pigmention and they fade significantly within a few hours. I have tried them with different primers with no luck. When you try to blend these, they fade away too. I’ve tried cheaper drugstore eyeshadows that are better..these aren’t worth $10/each at all.

I bought the color Darling for $10 because it swatched so beautifully at the counter. I was excited to wear it today, but it took some effort to get it on my eyelid. I applied an eyeshadow primer but I still had to pack it on to get any pigmentation. I used a brush, then my fingers, then went back to a brush until I finally got it to look right. Then I tried to layer a chocolate brown over it in the crease, and it was like the color just slid right off. It was weird! Within an hour it started to crease really bad, which I have never experienced with a powder eyeshadow before. I might expect this from a dollar store shadow, but I paid ten bucks for this one. Also, I can never get the shadow case open. I don’t know if it is just this color or if it because of the weird texture of the eyeshadow, but I did not like this at all. I am going to return this one.

I just bought this in the shade called “WANTED” which is a sultry midnight blue with shimmer. Midnight blue is all the rage this season and I wanted something that was more bright than my other blue which is a l’oreal brand of darker blue with little shimmer but fades even after an hour. This product gives great color payoff and has this smooth velvet texture which I love. It seems to stay vibrant for a few hours of wear. No brush with packaging but I do love the shiny black sleek container. I will definitely look for more of these; they’re really cool.

Purely based on the shade RISK, it’s an awesome color in the packaging, but turns to a moss green/grey. Too bad 🙁

I have the color Bunny which is in a velvet finish. I love it! It’s a wonderful highlight color, my favorite. I wear over UDPP. It looks simply amazing. My only complaint is that sometimes the packaging is a little tough to open but the actual product itself is great!

Not a fan of Victoria’s Secret make up…especially eyeshadows. I liked their colors so I bought a bunch of them. Too bad its all crap.

This review is for the newly-designed VS eyeshadows in the black square flip-top cases. The color is Bunny, the finish is Velvet. I picked this up when I got a $10 off $10 or more card from VS, and have worn it every day for the last month, I love it so much! This color is similar to MAC Blanc Type but the tiniest bit more beige than ivory. The texture or finish is Velvet, which is kind of a more rich matte. This shadow blends easily and wears all day over my MAC Painterly Paintpot, no smudging or creasing. The container is sleek and opens easily, and it goes for only $10. This is my new favorite nude shadow (NW15 for reference). I can’t get enough of this shadow, and hope that I am as pleased with the other shades when I try them.
