This is actually a review for the Savvy Eyeshadow trio’s. The Duo’s were discontinued when the line was revamped a few years ago. My trio is called Purple Reign and consists of a pinky mauve, lavender and dark purple. I don’t bother using the pinky mauve but tend to use the lavender over most of the eye and the dark purple in the crease and as a liner with a soft brush to give a subtle smudged look.
These have subtle shimmer without being ott sparkly (very suitable for older eyelids). They go on smoothly, and wear well. Used with a primer they last very well and are the equal of much more expensive brands. Ingredients list below:
Talc, Mica, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Polybutene, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate. May Contain [+/-]: Mica(CI77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI77891), Iron Oxides (CI77491/ CI77492/ CI77499), Red 40 Lake (CI16035), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI77510), Ultramarines (CI77007), Manganese Violet (CI77742), Blue 1 Lake (CI42090), Yellow 5 Lake (CI19140).

Simply the best eyeshadow money can get for a few dollars and can certainly compare to higher brands. Glad I bought and will do so again

I made my friend buy these as she needed some staples for her make up collection. She bought a brown/pink combo and a plum/beige combo (or vice versa…)
I then proceeded to try them out on her and myself and OMG! these eyeshadows are amazing! such good value and with a primer or a MAC paintpot underneath their intensity lasts all day woo wee if I didn’t have too much eyeshadow already I would buy every single damn color!!

I have purchased the savvy by db eyeshadow duo in the color
coffee cream…..its so gorgeous! I can’t believe its only 4.95 and has amazing color payoff and texture. This duo is a nice chocolate brown and a taupey camel color…..they look amazing on! i use the darker shade on the eyelid up to fold and then above it i blend in the lighter shade and i love it! Fantastic eyeshadows and defenitely will be purchasing again!

These are el-cheapos available in Priceline in Australia. At a couple of bucks a pop they are an absolute bargain. I have one called ‘Summer Frolic’ which is an earthy light brown with reddish undertones and a pearly light pink. I use the light pink side all the time. I use a natural hair eyeshadow brush to apply and it goes on silky smooth. The colour has excellent pigmentation and the staying power is excellent – pretty much makes it through a full day of work. At this price you seriously won’t find better. Highly recommend.
