I am very pleased with this shade and it’s getting a lot of useage. I’m very pale around a NW20 and this works great for a bunch of things. I like to use this over primer or as a brow bone highlight. This is a great shade for blending out harsh colours on me.
It’s a satin and it’s very soft and buttery so for 89cents it’s great quality. It goes on smooth no patchy at all and looks very natural on my skintone. I’ve only used this with primer and it lasts so I cannot attest to it with out. This is just a great blend and highlight shade for my eyes. Love it and I would but it again because it’s a multipurpose shade. Recommended!

While I wouldn’t describe this as “gunmetal,” I do love it. It’s a light, shimmery beige which I generally use as a brow highlight, or for the inner corner/outer V. It brightens up the eye without the harsh look of white. For 94 cents, you really can’t beat the quality…over primer they last all day and they have pretty decent pigmentation. I also love the fact that they click together, it’s a nice way to put together a duo, trio, or quad, without having to buy a palette or be limited to just 4 shades in a quad or have a half empty larger palette.

I love this shit. It’s amazing. On top of a good primer (which for me means my foundation and face powder), this 99 cent eyeshadow will last FOR HOURS.
The only con I found is that instead of silver, the color payoff has a sheen white tint to it. It’s very hard to get a solid silver look from this. However it’s not that big of a deal for me because personally I thoroughly enjoy the late ’50’s doe-eyed “Bette Davis” look.
In short, Sally Girl is a wonderful brand. I find it in my heart that they are probably one of the most underrated, yet best drugstore brands currently available on today’s market. I live in a small town and so big high-end stores like MAC or Sephora don’t take root here. For me, Sally Girl is one of the greatest cosmetic brands around. Just knowing that I have a Sally Girl line here makes living in such a small sleepy town worthwhile, because I’m lucky enough to know that I can still be beautiful even without my desired MAC products.

I love this product. Great color. Fantastic staying power (I use an Urban Decay Primer on my eyelids first). How can you pass up a $1.00 eyeshadow that works this well. I just bought 2 more last night. I never thought I would ever find a great product like this at Sally’s.

Picked these up at Sally’s for only 99 cents each. The quality is okay for a 99 cent eyeshadow, this particular color has more pigment then the others I bought. Most lack major pigment, and at least for the matte shades I bought- dont come off very well onto the brush or lids. This looked like my hg shadow mac vanilla so I couldnt pass it up, a little chalkier then mac vanilla but okay for the price. Definately wear a primer underneath! dont know why they call this gun metal this looks like a whitish beige shadow but maybe they mean those off white pearlescent guns instead of the normal peuter silver gun metal color. Sally girl neutral shadows look like mac knock offs and I love that. I was very pleased with the color selection, price, and how they come in individual compact but can connect to each other.
