I have to say: this is not my favorite color, BUT: it is very easy to work with, has a very nice duochrome shift, no fallout and more good qualities.
I got this during the “buy 12 shadows and an empty palette”-promo for $30. I think $30 for a palette where you ca choose the colors freely is absolutely great. The magnetic palette itself is pretty good too, aside from that the shadows fit suuuuper snuggly in it, to the point where I wasn’t sure they were at all going to fit in there.
The color Play by Play has a sheer orange base and lots and lots of very fine peach and light green pearl-shimmer. It applies really easily with a brush, but to get better opacity, finger application is even better. It’s one of those shadows I can easily wear in a work-environment without looking like I have too much going on makeup-wise, and I enjoy it for that. This eyeshadow is kinda a more subtle variant of the Tea Garden eyeshadow
As with far most Colourpop Eyeshadows: great texture, easy to apply, lasts all day without a primer.
