This is a great item and ideal to brighten up eye makeup that you realize became a bit too dark, for the night or a party. It does last a reasonable length of time, once applied.

My favourite pigment by far.I never though I’ll find better than Blue Brown and I did. It’s a gorgeous golden, peachy shade. On my NW15 pure gold washes me out,but with this peachy shade it’s looks amazing.Especially with a tan and I’m more than impressed.I use it over Mac 24 hour base, and then apply it with a brush soaked with Fix +.It stays on until you take it off, which happend for me to even be next morning and day.All in all gorgeous gorgeous flattering pigment.

This is amazing i wanted to buy it for a long time and its definitely worth the hype. I love to use this above where i contour my cheeks bones and it looks amazing. Instead of using a blusher it is great because when the light shines its a pretty goldfish colour and when theres no light it looks like a lovely shimmery orange blush. Its perfect for my skin tone which gets quite dark. i also love to use it as an eyeshadow and its great for brown eyes. My first pigment and its amazing love the colour so much. Highly pigmented and you only need to use very little. When i use as a highlight i apply to my cheekbone with my finger in a small swipe and then use a flat top stippler to blend and it will stay all day.

So beautiful, so versatile! This pigment is the perfect shade for all skin tones. I use it as an eyeshadow and the highlight? Forget about it! I’ve honestly stopped searching for a HG highlight because this is it. It looks so natural and beautiful I can’t get enough! Don’t let the small packaging fool you—this will last you ages!

This product is SO beautiful and you get so much product for the price, I don’t think I’ll ever run out of it. The colour is so pretty and unique and makes blue eyes pop and looks amazing on darker skin tones too. I would highly recommend this to anyone and it’s probably one of my favourite mac products of all time. I’m pretty sure I sat staring at it for about 20 mins when I received it in the post. I had to wait a long time for this to be back in stock online and almost every store near me had sold out, which I’m not surprised about. It’s absolutely worth the hype and the money…GO AND BUY IT, you won’t regret it X

I love, love, LOVE, love, love this color! Oh did I mention how much I love it? OK, onward…
MAC pigments are unbeatable and amazing products just generally, as they have a ton of uses and are so insanely pigmented and you get a lot for your money. The Melon shade is one of my faves for multi use. I use this as an eye shadow – its beautiful on tan and brown skin tones and those who find orange shades to be flattering. This makes a beautiful blush for many women of color – the darker your skin the prettier it is definitely! sadly I am not dark enough to wear it this way but I know many women who are and its a show stopper on them. I sometimes add this to lotion and wear alone, which gives me a hint of color. I often add an itsy bitsy amount of this into foundation to get a nice and incredibly natural looking bronze glow (ditto for pigments in vanilla, tan, and cocoa, which I rotate).
Don’t be fooled by other pigment brands, they simply don’t compare. Melon is a great color because it works for so many from pale to very dark and all in between for different purposes.

This is my favourite item in my make up bag!! It matches my green eyes perfectly and makes them sparkle.
It’s one of the best feeling eye shadows I’ve used. The pigment gives a subtle shimmer when applied dry and an oh wow colour when wet. When applied with water it can flake off over the course of the day. I use MAC’s studio fix to apply it. Just spray the studio fix spray on your brush and lightly dip the brush in the pigment before brushing it on.
The pigment does settle over time. I get around this and keep the color evenly mixed by giving it a shake once in a while.
It lasts forever!! I bought a jar a year ago and have maybe used 1/8th and I wear it 75% of the time.

Gorgeous rose-gold-peachy-pink color. Blends easily and looks great alone which is nice! It also seems to look good on nearly any eye color. A little goes a long way. Very pigmented and smooth.

Melon is a gold colour with an obvious rosy peach hue to it. it initially applies in lots of little specks, but once blended onto the lid with a flat brush over primed lids, and built up a little, eventually becomes a much more condensed, opaque pearlescent colour, with dare i say, a little gold/pink duochrome and some extra speckles left over. so it’s this beautiful, unique, subtly stunning colour. it warms up the face wonderfully and i enjoy wearing it most with pinks, reds, browns and purples in the crease. MAC’s ‘Red Brick’ eyeshadow especially, is also a sneaky way to really quickly warm up the colour in seconds!
now onto some other things about Melon. when i first bought this, it was actually a regret for me, because i was expecting an intense metallic kind of pigment that would wow at first swipe. but as i have discovered with MAC pigments in general, each pigment is so unique in how it can look its best on you. once i started experimenting with Melon and applying more of it on the lid, inner corners, lower lashline etc. i just fell in love.
FYI i also tried applying this wet, which i found went on much less shimmery, but made it more of a block of colour. i personally favour this applied dry on me. this also has quite a minimal amount of fallout compared to some other pigments. i always lean my head back whilst applying pigments anyway, so any fallout will just fall back on the lid if that makes sense. obviously with a hand-held mirror lol. not just aim and hope for the best 😉
also, if you dislike warmer colours on your eyes then this is perhaps one to avoid.
i definitely recommend trying this! it might just become your favourite.

I love this product. I love the new packaging. It is smaller and it better for storage. This product is slightly expensive, it’s $21. For the amount of product you get, how long it lasts and how multipurpose it is, I say it’s completely worth it! I love using it simply with some fix + and all across my lid with some liner and mascara but it is also beautiful once your eye makeup is fully done and this just topped right in the center of the lid over the shadow, it really makes it so beautiful and it a great alternative to shimmery glitter all the time.
