This was my go-to eyeshadow before I switched to the Urban Decay Naked Palette but regardless, this is a handy little palette to have, especially on the go. The colours were nice and pigmented, and although I didn’t care for the applicator it came with, it went on nicely with my brushes. Super long wearing and blendable too. Definitely the best drugstore eyeshadow palette out there. It would be awesome if they came out with a big version of this with more colour options!

I bought Revlon Color Ready Eye shadow palettes in Impressionist.. I was so tempted to get Watercolors but I need to stick to a more neutral simple palette for my over 40 eyes. I have not always had luck with Revlon so was surprised to find the staying power was pretty good. If you are looking for an inexpensive dupe to Urban Decay Naked Palettes you will love these. But prepare yourself they do not have the staying power they claim with the words Primer on the package. I doubt there is any primer to these at all. If you are thinking of an even more neutral color scheme you might try Metropolitan as this has the gray, greige and beige that UD Naked Basics has. Would I but this again? Yes, I plan to try the PopArt. I like the green gray shades. I do believe the shades are exactly the same as the 16 hour Rev quad package but these shades have been put into a slightly different case with better directions for application. A newbie to makeup would benefit from one of these sets that carefully walks you through how to apply.

I’ve liked most of the products in Revlon’s PhotoReady line and had been wanting to try a shadow palette for awhile. When I saw this one on clearance at CVS, I couldn’t resist. I think it was well worth it!
I love the black and gold shades together (perfect for football season if you’re a Saints fan..haha!. I have a couple of issues, though. First, supposedly an additional primer isn’t needed for this palette because the lightest shade in the palette (kind of a champaign color) is listed as a primer/shadow. However, when I tried using it as a primer it didn’t seem to work very well and I found the colors became kind of muddy on my eyelids. Instead, I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a primer and put a little of the primer shade on top of that, and it seemed to work much, much better. I also used the primer shade as a highlighter. The other issue is the glitter shade in the bottom right corner of the pan. It’s supposed to be applied on top of the look once you’re finished, but I find the glitter gets lost and/or has a lot of fall out. I was wiping glitter from under my eyes all day and didn’t see any on my eyelids. Adding the glitter shade on top also kind of messes up your look, too.
All of that aside, I love how buttery and pigmented each shade is. The black shade is insanely black and a little bit goes a very long way. The gold shade looks a little more brown than gold to me when it’s applied, but maybe that’s because it’s sitting near a brown shade to begin with. Even if I hadn’t bought this on clearance I think it would have been worth getting. I want to check out some of the other palettes in this line, including Watercolours and Bohemian. I think I will end up getting a lot of use out of this.

Wow! If I could have tried this way back before I bought Naked 1 I don’t think I ever would have got N1.
I haven’t tried a Revlon eyeshadow in awhile because I found the Colorstay quads to be seriously lacking in pigmentation and feel chalky/dry. Not so with this! These pans are richly pigmented, apply on butter smooth, blend easily and last really nicely.
Graffiti’ biggest pan is a close dupe for UD Smog, but a smidge darker and warmer and with a satin rather than shimmery finish. There’s also a beautiful satin charcoal for the crease, a lovely subtle warm gold, a shimmery bone colored highlighter for the inner corners (or wherever) and a small, shimmery square of white shadow if you’re into that. All of the colors are rich, smooth, and just great quality overall. No fallout, and no primer needed.
The packaging is standard issue for Revlon and the price is okay at $10, considering that you get five shadow pans (in varying sizes). I really like this a lot and would definitely recommend it!
