I have some half dozen or so of these wonderful and value packed shadows and can’t praise them enough! I suppose what I appreciate most about them is that unlike Chanel’s Illusion d’ombre and Maybelline’s Colour Tattoo and Benefit’s cream shadows (discontinued now, I think), these do not dry out or become difficult to use over time. The colours themselves are, for the most part, stunning, and these shadows wear really well all day long and are easy to apply with a brush or with your fingers. The little plastic disc inside the lid helps “re-press” the product and keep it from shattering and becoming messy should you drop it (I haven’t….yet) or if you like to carry these in a purse (I don’t but I can see that jangling around inside a handbag could loosen the shadow). These are very glowy, shiny shadows so if you don’t like a sheen, these won’t be for you. Not all the colours are to everyone’s taste and a few of them don’t perform as well as others but there are some absolute standouts in this line. In addition, they’re often on sale, making them even more affordable. Some of my favourite colours – Tender Caramel, Bronzed Taupe and Gilded Envy – might have been LE, which is a shame, and Gilded Envy was never available in Canada. But these are great shadows at any price and you could easily pay at least 5 times more for Chanel or Gucci but the quality won’t be any better.

First of all, let me say, I’m usually an eyeshadow palette type girl. I may see a color that catches my eye in a single shadow line that i will pick up, ex: I own 1 NYX chrome shadow, 1 Loreal Metallic, 1 Milani, etc. I’m much more taken in by palettes for a lot of reasons…they’re usually color coordinated, takes up less room, can stick with the brands i like the most. Like I’m a fire hard Urban Decay fan and own a lot of their palettes. I think their shadows have a depth to the color that others don’t and the consistency and quality is way worth my money. Well, one day in the drugstore while waiting for my prescription, the color Amber Rush caught my eye in this line of shadows so o2 picked it up. It took me a couple days to get around to trying it and to say i was blown away is an understatement. First the consistency…AMAZING. I live working with kiss pigments and will sometimes make pressed shadows with them. These shadows remind me of my homemade pressed shadows right before they are completely dry but this totally works for this Loreal shadow. I love the plastic stopper that held keep the color compact cause uhh you accidentally drop it or get rough while swirling a brush around…you just have to posit back down and add good as new. I know it sounds like this might be hard to blend but it spreads like silk when blending our add a crease color. I use my finger when using add a lid color and it maintains that shiny, wet, sparkly look throughout the entire day without creasing. I now own 17 shades including most of the LE colors and I’m not unhappy with ANY of them. Colors are all gorgeous and eye catching and will worth the $. If you go on ebay you can find at great prices and a lot of sellers do buy 1 get 1 50% off. It really says a lot about these that i went out of my way to purchase so many different shades from this line because there us NO other brand where I own more than 1 or 2 if their single shadows!

I’m surprised how much I hate these.
Iced Latte is my “favorite” out of the bunch because it works as an all over lid color on my NC10 skin/green eyes. Most people will find it suitable as a highlighter, but on my pale skin it pulled as a champagne hue. Amber Rush is another beautiful color for adding some warmth in the crease area.
HOWEVER…I can NOT work with the texture of these shadows. They’re a weird powder/cream consistency. Using a brush was useless to apply these, as it’s hard to pick up. And even with other applicators I could never get a precise application. I would get little globs here and there of pure pigment, work at smoothing it out, and then deal with having uneven areas. Loreal would have been better off making these just a cream formula, or just a powder. The combination ruined any chance of me repurchasing.
There is one positive note I will make about the L’Oreal Infallible e/s line… these are packed with shimmer and pigment. Unlike a lot of super shimmery e/s, these are NOT sheer. So if that’s the look you’re going for – you *might* like these. I just can’t deal with the cons listed above.

Love it!!! Have several shades and they all are highly pigmented, stay on for hours and is easy to work with. Only wish their were more shades????

First, let me say I am an eye shadow snob, and these blew me away. This stuff is FABULOUS. They Rival Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill shadows. I have been using them for years and have almost all of the shades. I don’t know how to describe the consistency other than it has more moisture than a powder but has a lot less moisture than a cream. It is not a loose shadow, but it is also not tightly pressed unless you pack it down with the plastic piece
Pros:
– Packaging is really good considering the interesting consistency, it comes with a little plastic piece to keep the shadow pressed down.
– Shimmery shades have a very high luster, the mattes are truly matte
– Blends beautifully
– Lasts a very long time (I work 12 hour shifts in healthcare) and it doesn’t crease.
– Excellent color choices
– Excellent price, around $8
Cons:
– Honestly none for me, I love them! Maybe they could add a few more matte shades…

Holy Eyeshadow, Batman! I picked up four shades at my local CVS a month ago. They are absolutely, hands down, the best drugstore eyeshadows. I would put this up against Urban Decay or Lancome eyeshadow anytime. These are very highly pigmented. A little goes a long way. They look the same at 7pm as they do when they are applied at 7am..even without primer. They do not smudge, or smear, or move, or crease. Very blendable. Easy to apply with a brush or finger. There is a wide shade selection that includes metallics, shimmer, and matte finishes. A must have item! My favorite part is because they are drugstore they can be found almost anywhere. You also have the benefits of sales and coupons making these an affordable performance product. Love these!

I’ve been using the L’Oreal Infallible eye shadows for more than several months now and have collectively gotten eight of them so far. These are by far the best eyeshadows I’ve ever worn. I use my ring finger to apply them to my eyelids and they go on so smooth and opaque. Be careful not to drop them, because they are just a pressed pigment powder and there’s no way to salvage it if you drop it. I lost a brand new one in my bathroom sink. 🙁 And went out re-purchased that one (so technically, I’ve bought 9 of these). So be careful.

I love these eye shadows and I have them in several colors. The only one I wear on a daily basis is Iced Latte. That’s b/c I own the darker colors and when I go to work I don’t like to wear colors other than neutrals/pinks. I love the texture of the shimmery ones. I have one matte and I’m not a big fan of the texture. It’s drier and flakier. As much as I love this product, I will not be buying more, but that’s because I own too many eye shadow as it is. I don’t need anymore!

LOVE IT!!! I got it the shade amber rush and it’s GORGEOUS rose gold/copper kind of color. It’s really pigmented and lasts forever which is shocking because I oily eyelids (sometimes). These are like pressed pigments but they go on super smooth and creamy. I’m definitely going to buy more of these!!!

I own this eyeshadow in Bronzed Taupe, Bottomless Java, Eternal Sunshine, Amber Rush, Perpetual Purple, Smoldering Plum, and Golden Emerald. They all go on beautifully and last all day. without creasing. They all have some shimmer, which I love. You get a decent amount in each one. I wear Bronzed Taupe and Bottomless Java every day, and will probably pick up Iced Latte to use as a browbone color. It is necessary to keep the lid on these. I thought it was a hassle to unscrew it every time so I left the lids off 4 of mine and they all dried out and got ruined. I liked them enough that I replaced them all.
