I do think that this is a good cream to powder eye shadow base for someone under 50 years old. This color nude pink is the perfect porcelain pink nude shade for my porcelain skin tone. it covers reddish areas and evens the skin tone of my eyelids which I love. The problem for me with this product is that it starts to settle into my fine lines and crepeiness and makes me look like the crypt keeper. Even with primer and moisturizer this product still settles into my aging eye lids in an unattractive way. But it does stay on without creasing and lasts until I take it off.

I have bought this in 02 Nude Rose because I wanted a shade to use as a base. My lids are oily and very red and every eyeshadow turns reddish and/or starts to crease after a while, so I need something that can stop oils and at the same time also neutralize the redness and works as a canvas for other eyeshadows.
I have tried every sort of primer but, if they were good at holding eyeshadows, they didn’t neutralize the redness. I have tried some “nude” or whitish eyeshadows but most of them have a light coverage and only last few hours – to date I had the best results with MAC Gesso (matte white). Also MAC Painterly is too dark and pink and many eyeshadows turn purple on it. A nice option is Bobby Brown cream eyeshadow in Bone but the consistency is not quite right, sort of slippery, the colour is too ashy and although it is relatively long lasting, it goes too patchy in the application.
02 Nude Rose is a gorgeous nude shade for fair and medium-fair complexions. It covers every redness and makes my eyes bright and well rested. It is a delight to apply it with my finger, it goes on smoothly and evenly all over the lid up to the eyebrows. It is a matte shadow with a subtle satin effect, it feels like moist powder at the touch and it looks like velvet on skin.
So why only four lipsticks? Without a good primer it doesn’t last long, it creases and the colour turns into a warm tone – or maybe it is my redness that comes through. For this reason I can’t use it as a canvas but like every other eyeshadow and although I also like the other shades, especially 06 Earth, 05 Sparkle Grey and 03 Taupe, I won’t buy them because considering that they require a primer anyway and that the shades are not very unique – similar colours are easy to find in other lines – they are not worth the splurge. For the price I could buy two palettes.
