I went ahead and gave this 3 stars because it’s not “bad” per se, but it should be more like 2.5. It’s just kind of “meh.” Pigmentation is hit and miss. Texture can be somewhat dry and the glitter shades a little grainy. Karity focused heavily in their advertising as being a sort of “mom and pop” alternative to the big-name Sephora brands at a budget price point, but this pallete adds nothing new to the market. In fact, you could find better quality shadows (AMERICAN, CANADIAN AND EURO-MADE) from most major drugstore brands. This palette is made in China. Perhaps I am biased, but a startup company trying to keep production costs low by farming out for cheap Chinese manufacturing gives me pause when considering purity and quality standards. If I purchase PRC makeup (as I occasionally do) I would be more inclined to trust a brand with a decades-old reputation at stake. Just my thoughts.

The product is a very close dupe for MAC. The product is very silky to palpation and the colors are very rich and pigmented. The only color in the pallet that disappointed me was ‘witch’ because it could have been a deep and vibrant plumb but just comes off as blackish. It stays put and there’s a good mix between mattes and shimmers. Smells clean and does not have an overbearing scent. It wears well all day. Definitely an alternative for someone who doesn’t care to have name brand or pay the price for it.

This is a beautifully curated palette. The colours are super smooth with next to zero fallout – which is crazy! They blend beautifully and the shimmers are gorgeous. The standout shade for me is Fairie – a peachy gold duo chrome. Gorgeous on its own. I live this palette and cannot wait for the peach palette to arrive tomorrow. Great for all occasions.

This pallet comes in a variety of matte and shimmer. For once I found a highly pigmented matte eye shadow that goes on smoothly with just a little amount. Looks natural and I am so impressed. I highly recommend!
