This is really great quality for under $5 CAD. Tons of pigment! I like how it almost has a red tone on my brown eye lids (I’m prob like an NC 40 something). I wear it in the day and night. Not glittery but shimmery and very sophisticated. Cannot get over that it’s in-expensive! I just wear a little on my lid after applying w/ just a finger & some jet black mascara and I’m good to go.

The eyeshadow comes in round, clear pot with a regular snap lid. The lid is seethrough, which I like. Other than that, there isn’t anything particularly interesting about the packaging.
The pan is gorgeous. The eyeshadow is completely packed with gold (and some greenish) sparkles. The glitter is very fine and not gritty at all. However, the biggest disappointment of all, is that this gorgeous glitter turned out to be just an overspray. After swatching and using up the top layer all I was left with was a regular shimmery brown shadow. I had honestly expected it to be glittery all the way through. Major disappointment.
Secondly, I didn’t find it to be particularly long-lasting. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with the wear time. With an eye primer I get the same result as with any other regular shadow. But since this is promising to be intensive and long-lasting, I guess I had expected something better. I guess for $2.99 I shouldn’t complain.
Closing Thoughts
It’s been nearly 2 months since I ordered her first face shadow, so that’s a pretty tight turnaround. I hope this project helps a lot of people out, and don’t be afraid to tell me what you think about the lashes by emailing me at [email protected]. My shipping cost was $5 so that’s still around $40 after all these years! I didn’t see a shimmer or payoff behind this product as well. I was initially afraid that she would hold the weight of a full second. That is not the case now and it definitely seems like my final phase of her venture. She is insanely adaptable.
Kudos to Evyou’s Cosmetics for making this product available in beauty swatches as well as to Kim Hature for putting the original chart with labels and details on to the review for everyone to see. Keep your eyes peeled for more information. My lids were not reported for use during the purchase process. They are still non-stretch after the lid was removed, but this product (or any other mascaras she may release this fall) will probably be on my roster as soon as it becomes available. Like I said, Kim Hature is just that–charming. I could see jumping through hoops. Again, happy buying.

Such an amazing product! Don’t be afraid of the hella-glittery overspray, all I did was rub my finger on it to remove the sparkle in order to get to the goods. This shade is an amazing, creamy, buttery eyeshadow with the perfect amount of metallic shine. It has excellent pigmentation, and it is incredibly easy to shine. The only issue I have with it is the packaging. Mine snapped so it doesn’t have a lid. However, that is what I like about essence cosmetics. They sacrifice the quality of the packaging to give you great quality products inside! This eyeshadow is no exception. It is VERY affordable, so I’m willing to sacrifice a broken lid for such a great eye shadow
