I love melt eyeshadow so much. My god they are amazing. They blend themselves, don’t muddy, are pigmented. I’m bad at eyeshadow but I can make it look like I’m not with these shadows. Enigma in the dark matter stack is much more cranberry than I thought it would be. I thought it would be a darker version of rust and it’s really not. I own the rust and dark matter stacks and both are great. I’ve snagged them all on sale but I would pay full price for their shadows. I’ve never tried any I’ve liked more

I LOVE THIS. LOVE LOVE LOVE. The colours are stunning, easy to bland and have minimal fallout. They come in a magnetic stack, with a little mirror, which is a lovely touch. The pan sizes are massive, i don’t think I will ever run out in my entire lifetime, and if I did, I would 100% repurchase it. You can buy as a stack, or if you so wish, but the singles, and create your own stack. I highly highly recommend this, It’s sad more people don’t know about melt cosmetics! If you need inspo, check out their instagram. They have it arranged in colours, and it is by far the most satisfying feed i’ve ever seen.

This is the other item in my first Melt Cosmetics order and I’m so in love with it! It has four large eye shadow pans attached together with magnets and it comes with a mirror lid. The pans can be fully separated and then stacked again in whichever order you want. Great idea, saves room in the makeup hoard.
The Dark Matter stack has two neutral-warm light-medium base and transition shades, Blurr and Unseen. Blurr is just a bit too deep for my very pale winter skin to work as an eraser shadow, but it makes a great base shade. Unseen is a warm, burnt-sugar brown. Enigma is a deep, cool red brown with a slight wine tint to it – looks scary in the pan but gorgeous on the skin. The last colour, Dark Matter, is a true ultra matte black with amazing depth and longevity.
The quality of these shadows is great. They’re dense, buttery but soft, with minimal fallout. Actually, you have to be careful with Dark Matter, it’s really intense. I use it mostly as a liner, but sometimes I do make a full smokey eye with it and it’s pure rock’n roll. All in all you can get a huge variety of looks out of these four shadows, just by changing the intensity and layering them innovatively.
Once this stack runs out (will take some time as the pans are so big), I’ll definitely buy a new one, I’m that impressed with the shades and the quality. Can’t recommend enough.
