This is a fantastic matte palette!
I haven’t been exposed much to matte eyeshadows, so I decided to take a chance on this one. I love practically everything about its quality and design.
The color coordination is especially good in this palette- out of the four that I have, this one does it best. Each of the three color schemes works very well aesthetically; like, the crease and lid colors are different enough so that they don’t look like the same color when you put it on. The quality of the eyeshadows is fantastic as well; I haven’t thought of them as chalky- no one does chalky better than Maybelline- they felt velvety (like the last reviewer said) and they applied with fantastic pigmentation and blended very well. I experienced no fallout during the day, and the colors don’t crease or fade. Some of the crease colors can be a bit aggressive to work with (aka “holy crap that’s a dark color”), so I suggest having your best blending brush ready.
It’s $36 for this palette, which is a lot, but it’s a great matte palette for sure. I’m sure the nude matte palette is also great, if you prefer more natural colors. I’m sure I won’t use up this palette anytime soon, but I’d definitely repurchase if I needed to.

I bought this palette because of the unique all matte shadows. Maybe I wasn’t priming my lids properly or not using the right brushes, but I found the shadows very hard to work with, not very blendable and chalky. The packaging is stunning and the colours lovely but I just can’t work with the shadows! Back to my MAC shadows!

This was recommended to me as a good all-around choice for a women in her 40’s. I am very pleased with the silky formula and the warm and cool tones blend well for different looks. The matte eye shadow collection is long lasting – especially when combined with Two Faced Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer. I found the price at $45 to be reasonable considering the size of the collection. [3 x 0.07 oz Eye Shadows and 6 x 0.03 oz ]. My one grump is the packaging which is somewhat fragile and doesn’t travel well. That aside, I am very pleased with this product.

I don’t know why the precious reviewers describe the color chalky. they are really velvety and pigmented. They blend really easily too. They have a great staying power too. With my very affordable essence primer it lasted from 7 in the morning, after a nap and a gym session. The only negative thing is that besides the highlight color the rest are a bit dark for everyday use for fair skins. I will be trying more too faced palettes I am impressed!

So this palette is one of the cutest looking palettes, and it has these cute little instruction cards to show you have to make different looks. It’s also organized in a very good way, like the top row is labeled ‘day’, while the second is labeled ‘classic’ and the last is ‘fashion’.
This palette has some pretty neutrals, but still has a couple of options with a bit more color (like vintage violet it’s a deeper plumy kind of purple, and pebbles is a blueish toned grey)
The only thing that REALLY bugs me about this palette is that I find two shades pretty chalky, and one of them is a shade I was most excited for!
Velveteen bunny seemed like a really super pretty creamy white, but when you pack it on the lid it’s kind of chalky and can be hard to work with (fresh linen is similar in texture)
For that one let down I gave it 3 lippies, and I’m not sure if I’d repurchase this one. I really love the idea of this palette, and the look of it but Too faced needs to work on their formula a little bit.
I’d suggest looking at it in Sephora before you purchase!
Other than those two shade being kind of duds, the other 7 shades are beautiful
