I love it. Beautiful, pigmented colors. I depotted all the colors and placed them into this palette by Adept Cosmetics. I don’t wear yellow eyeshadow, so I gifted that.

This palette was created by Colourpop’s instagram followers, who were asked to vote for colors that would be a part of a new mini-palette. There are 6 colors: gold, icy blue silver, translucent purple with blue shimmer, translucent warm brown (shows up as pink on me?) with teal shimmer, deep teal shimmer (not transparent, but must be layered or foiled to be opaque) and a rosy-peach with gold shimmer. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! The packaging is a sky with tiny holographic stars and small clickety-hands representing that it was voted on – very on theme! As with most Colourpop palettes, the shadows are slightly smaller than regular size (but that was no surprise to me). The swatches above are on NC25 color skin
I really like this little palette. I actually mainly bought it for the gold shade and the duochrome brown-teal. However, all of the shades in the palette are very wearable for me, who is an NC15-25 throughout the year. It’s a palette that is supposed to create a pop of color, so it’s not a palette I’m able to wear (more than in one way) all by itself – I need something to use as a transition color (although the brown-toned one can be used for this for some looks), a highlight and a liner. For me, the perfect addition to this is the Colourpop Vacation palette, which has a mid-tone brown, a light beige and a dark greyish brown. What I really like too is that I have no other shadows from Colourpop that are dupes for the colors in this palette, except from the teal, which is like Mermaid Boy from the Dream St Palette, except a better (more pigmented, easier to blend) formula. Otherwise (from the same palette) Kalidoscope resembles the silver color, but Kaleidoscope has some green glitter and is slightly more glittery/gritty. Sweet dreams resembles the peach shade, but is also more gritty.
As always, the quality of the pressed eyeshadows is beautiful! The shimmery colors can have a little bit of fallout during application (generally normal with all shimmery shadows), but otherwise, they last all day on my eyes, even without any primer. All of them are easy to blend – I use a denser brush with the less shimmery ones, and a packing brush with the shimmers. I get 4 different looks out of this palette the way *I prefer* to combine colors, and I feel all of the looks are unique and very different. At some point I will make sure to upload a picture of all of them 🙂 In any case: I love this tiny palette (and have considered to purchase a backup one several times)!
