Okay so, when I bought this product, I was in desperate need of an eyebrow powder, and the dark brown colour was PERFECT for my brows, so I used it as a brow powder for almost a month before I actually decided to use it for its intended purpose ????????. It was the perfect colour for my brows, I almost don’t want to buy a brow powder after using this eyeshadow as a substitute, that’s how perfect the colour and the density is.
Anyway, onto it being used as an actual eyeshadow: it’s very cute, I love it. I use it as an everyday eyeshadow that I will wear with absolutely any other makeup, the three colours are the perfect combination in my opinion. I use the dark brown in my crease (don’t use too much because you’ll ruin the base colour), and it needs to be blended a bit but it looks stunning, it makes your eyes open up so much. The golden yellow is the perfect lid colour and it’s so beautifully complimented by the brown and the White, the only negative is that it does need at least 4 coats on my kid which is kind of ridiculous, but the end pro cyst is so worth it. I use the white in my inner corner and on the browbone to highlight, always looks beautiful, but again I have to put a few layers on.
Overall, the only bad things I can say are that the two LIGJT colours need a few coats to look really dazzling, and the darkest colour only needs a small amount, and will tend to ruin your base colour of you use too much.

These eyeshadows are not pigmented enough, you have to put on multiple layers to even see a “hint” of color. Luckily, I got it for a cheaper price at Nordstrom Rack but I would not buy it again!

I was excited to see the larger NYX display at Ulta; many new products, and so many have testers! Yeah! I oohed and aahed over all the new palettes, and then opted for this one, which is a trio of lovely neutrals. I had such high hopes. This trio contains a matte cream, a slightly shimmery pale brown/taupe, and a matte medium cool brown. I attempted to use the sponge-tip applicator to apply the product and the sponge was very firm so rather than pick up product, it scooped out little “divots” of product, if that made sense. It was also very difficult to apply and blend using the applicator, so in the trash it went. I had more success with my brushes. The cream shade is pretty pigmented but rather chalky and takes some deft blending. The shimmery pale color doesn’t really quite “read” on my skin and didn’t adhere very well. I am not a primer sort of person; perhaps if I used a primer the product would apply and wear better but I’m just not up to another step in the morning. The darker cool brown is beautiful. Fairly pigmented, a little chalky, but I love it. It’s great as a brow color. There were a few other trios that are sufficiently neutral to appeal to me, but I don’t think I would purchase them because the shadows just weren’t all that special. Wet-n-Wild’s Brulee is a fabulous product, and Physician’s Formula Canyon classics has all around better quality.
