I have this in Solstice. It is similar in color to Butter’s Oil Slick, but it stays put much, much longer. Love.

Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow
I love this liquid eyeshadow! It adds sparkle to every matte eyeshadow. So if you think that you need some glitter in your life! This is the right product!
I also made a review about the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow so that everyone understands why I like it that much!

I’ve purchased x2 shades and absolutely love them! They are the more sparkley types in the collection. Chem Trail a champagne based color with fine silver/pearl glitter. And Recharged which is a coppery metallic rose gold base with a fine deep pink/red glitter. It has a brush applicator which I just dab on my eyelid and use my fingertip and gently pat the deposited product over my lid.. I have worn it alone with a neutral shadow base and it looks subtle and oh so pretty …. I usually use a little and it just reflects beautifully without being over the top ( at my age less glitter is better ) but I think you can defin layer this and it would be outstanding on the younger ladies! I have used both colours together -I apply a red base (burgundy to copper) shadow on my outer corner and blend towards my inner corner with a gold or champagne based eye shadow, then apply both Recharged in the outer corner of my eye and Chem Trail from mid to inner corner and it is just GORGEOUS! There is some fallout throught the day … as I’ve noticed on my clothing and that’s with one layer. But hands down one of the better glitter shadows for fallout that I’ve tried, incl using glitter glue and loose glitter pigment. No burning no stinging noted. Eyes felt comfortable, not drying. Overall practicality this product delivers!

I bought this in a binge the other day in the colour Solstice – I was drawn to the beautiful colour and the shimmery colour shifting properties. I didn’t know at the time that this came in a powder formulation – I only found that out when I came to read some reviews when I got home.
I was disappointed. Most seemed to say that the staying power was bad and that the colour didn’t translate well onto the skin. I thought this wouldn’t work for me.
I am pleased to say I was wrong! I always use primer as I have creasy greasy eyelids, but this over Primer Potion, or another eyeshadow lasts really well. I apply straight from the tube from the brush and it dries down quickly and then doesn’t move. It looks simply gorgeous on. Rose gold with shimmer. I love it.
I love the packaging, it looks good and it’s super easy to use. I love the formulation as I don’t get any fallout and mess from it. The brush is brilliant and makes it really easy to use – I like to apply a cranberry colour over the lid with a dark brown in the crease. I then add this over the top and use it to line my bottom lid. It looks fab. It stays on.
It is pricey, but I absolutely love it. I want to get recharged as well as that looks gorgeous as well.
I really am so confused at the reviews from people that don’t like this or say it doesn’t stay on! For me it’s the holy grail of cream eyeshadow products and I’d like more.
EDIT: just to add, I considered the Pure Pigment in the colour Fervent from Illasmasqua as the colour is very similar but powders can just be so messy. I travel sometimes for work and want something I can’t spill everywhere!

Terrible product. I used it because of Makeup by Tiffany D recommendation and I returned it. I had glitter all over my face, and the glitter on my eyes was gone. I have slightly hooded eyes, may be the cause but this stuff did not stay at all. Too bad, because it looked so nice when i first applied.

I was surprised at how nice these blended out. Very even and not super chunky like some liquid glitter shadows. The applicator isn’t bad either. I know some people would rather a doe foot applicator, but these allow you to use as liner or all over the lid. I used one of the shades over an eyeshadow this morning to add extra sparkle, and I was happy that it didn’t move my shadow underneath or make it crease. It also dried very fast as well. I used chem trail on half of my lower lash line and inner corner, and it was just beautiful. I think some people will not like that all the shades seem to not be completely opaque, but I think that’s ok, because they are so versatile you can layer them over eyeshadow, or alone for just some added sparkle. These things are great! I definitely want to get more 🙂

These are so amazing! If you’ve tried any of the Moondust eyeshadows, this really is the liquid/cream shadow version. I have two colors, “Chem Trail” which is a light beige champagne color and “Soltice” which is a pink-red with a green 3D sparkle and shift. The brush is vey thin like an eyeliner brush or the brush’s on their glitter liners and at first I was sad but then I realized a little goes a long way. I also love that you can use this all over the lid or more precisely like on your lashline or highlighting the inner corner (which is my favorite way of using the color “Chem Trail”). You have to understand that these are not meant to be super opaque. They’re literally the liquid formula of the Moondust shadows which means they’re going to be more transparent and glittery if that makes sense. They’re still incredibly pigmented and my favorite way of using these is putting 3-5 swipes on the lid using “Chem Trail” then patting out with my finger to spread it evenly and then I take my Moondust eyeshadow in “Space Cowboy” on my finger and pat onto the liquid Moondust while it’s still wet. When it’s wet it works as a good sticky base like a glitter glue but it’s already super pigmented and glittery and the effect is absolutely gorgeous. It’s sooooo pretty, it is the prettiest combination and it looks like there’s crushed diamonds on your eyes. I literally am going to buy 2 “Chem Trails” & then most of the other colors. I can only imagine the possibilities when you use these with the Moondust Palette. I’m so excited and this is my new favorite make up item.
