I really enjoyed this palette more than I thought. I purchased this after I purchased the Gold palette and I find that I enjoy this one more (with the wider variation in shades) and I love purple shadows. I know everyone raves about ND’s shimmers/glitters but I really enjoy her creamy matte formula. For shimmers/glitters, I actually prefer Pat McGrath’s formula if we’re comparing options in this steep price range.
In all honesty, i’m not sure her palettes are worth the price tag even though I do think they’re good quality eye shadows. I understand you get a lot of product but to be honest, I never hit pan on any eye shadow even though I use shadow almost every day, so that selling point doesn’t resonate with me. I do find a lot of her shades are on the deeper end of the colour spectrum and I would appreciate some lighter tones to complement my NC25 skin tone a bit better, but that’s neither here nor there as I still really enjoy the tones in this palette.
At the end of the day, I still find myself drawn to her palettes and now I’m debating picking up her newest Biba neutrals palette, hence the 4 stars. If you don’t have the cash though, I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. Side note, I hate that stupid plastic flap that these packages seem to have in them.

I held back for ages and ages to buy this because of the price. I couldn’t imagine how different an eyeshadow could be to warrant the higher price tag. I finally got it and can see exactly why. I’ve been using this for 3 to 4 months now and it really is the best palette I own, regards quality of shadow, pigmentation, blend ability and staying power. The pans are bigger than average and they’re arranged with cooler tones on the left and warmer tones on the right. A mixture of mattes, smooth shimmers and metallics with a couple of duochrimes. They’re all the pink/purple family, though I would question the gold shade. It is a lovely shade of gold however and I’m not usually fond of golds. The shimmers still need to be applied with a finger, though I think that’s the same for any shimmer, yet they’re good. They stay where you put them, with or without primer too. I also think it’s important to add that the whole formula is talc free, which I also think makes a huge difference to eyeshadows. These are made in Italy. My only gripe is there is no transition shade ( not for me and my fair skin) so I do need to use a shade from another palette. There is also not a deep matte shade. However, all the mattes are beautiful in their own right, blending seamlessly. I couldn’t drop a star off because of that as it really is a superb palette. I’m glad I bought it.

Even at 20% off, this palette is too expensive. That said, I love it. I’m a sucker for purple eyeshadow, and this was the first and only ND product that I ever even considered buying. Every color is wearable for my NW20 skin tone so there’s no issue there. I’d feel like even more of an idiot if I paid $100+ and there were colors I wouldn’t wear. I’ve heard there are dupes, such as Huda Desert Dusk, but I don’t find them similar. DD is much warmer overall, and has less mauve and taupe tones. The biggest complaint I can find is that this is not a stand-alone palette for me. I still have to add a matte brow highlight and a liner. It’s not a deal breaker, though, because I have those shades everywhere. If you have the money and you love purples, duochromes and contrasting warm and cool shades in a single palette, I don’t think you’ll regret this. But there are dupes for most shades, so if you’re less lazy than me, seek out the singles if the shades you really want. With brands like Colourpop, Coloured Raine, Makeup Geek, and ABH, you’re sure to get close! I just fell for the whole presentation of this palette, and I probably wouldn’t do it again, but I will use it.

I simply adore this palette it’s one of my favorite that I own. I have NW20, Blonde hair, green eyes very cool undertones for reference and this palette works with my skin and eye colour. I think these shadows are extremely well made and find the mattes to be so creamy! The shimmer and duo’s are gorgeous and yes some shades I do have to apply with my finger because they just apply better than with a brush. So I’ve noticed I have to use different brushes and techniques but I don’t mind it. Because these shadows are water resistant and they really are! My eyes always tear and with these shadows my look stays in place.
Also they are made in Italy and you can tell a lot of love went into the creation of these shadows. I appreciate good quality shadows at my age work best to put on my eyes. The shadows themselves are such beautiful shades that I enjoy using alone or with other palettes. I also really love how long they last I get over 8 hours without fading or creasing. The mattes are butter and the shimmer have little to no fallout! Purple is my favorite colour so I fell in love with this palette.
Some of my favorite shades are Juneau great inner eye and lid colour, the duo’s Livid and Dragon Bite, Viola of the metallic, and Magnolia of the Chroma Crystals, Finally the mattes blend themselves and I love them especially Per Se and Nude Mauve. So to me the palette is $$$ but the quality is there. I adore the purple packaging and I like how it comes with a label sheet that can be removed. I keep mine in, and the mirror is perfect size. If I lost this I would repurchase as purple is my favorite shade and unlike some brands these do not irritate my eyes so I’m super happy with this. Recommended. 🙂

Love this palette. Natasha Dennis eyeshadows are by far the best eyeshadows I have ever used. I am a make up artist and I find that nothing else compares. They are highly pigmented, super blendable and stay on all day. I just wish she included a light skin tone colour to use as my base. Other than that I’m in love.

The formula of the new Natasha Denona Lila Eye Shadow Palette is wonderful- it is creamy, buildable, and blendable. I always use an eyeshadow primer and with that the eyeshadows last all day without creasing. My issue with the palette is the lack of light colors for the upper eye lid, brow bone, and inner eye corner. So let me say this, if you are a beginner with makeup- definitely pass on this palette. You will need other eye shadows to make a complete look. If you are a professional artist or a makeup pro you will probably be able to get better use of this $129 eyeshadow palette.
