I very much wanted to like this, but the performance was subpar and the eyeshadow look would completely disintegrate after 3-4 hours. This Les Beiges compact comes with a built-in mirror, 5 shades (4 pearl, 1 shimmer), and 2 luxury applicators. The packaging is absolutely stunning — but the product itself doesn’t perform very well. The eyeshadows are silky but VERY crumbly — I use my fingers to apply color to my lids but even then, I would get fall-out from that! After a few hours of wear, the color finds its way into your creases if you have oily lids.
The tones are extremely cool-toned and are more taupe so they’re more suited to cool or neutral-toned skin, and as I’m wearing tanner – really clashes. I wish it were more neutral leaning. For $65, I expected better wear-time and versatility, and this is the only Chanel product thus far that I’ve been disappointed with.
