Im giving this review on the golden shades and not the color ones. I love how it comes in a little pot. Holy Pigment! This stuff really shines. For a better payoff, you may want to dampen the brush but these shades really Glow! If I don’t want to use them as an Eyeshadow, they work Amazing as a cheek Highlight!!! The best colors for these are Binged & Brilliant and Eternal Sunshine. I love them wayyyy better as a Highlight!! Give it a try, You would be amazed at how they blend easy and Shine brightly and make you skin just shine! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

i bought this on amazon after seeing swatches online, because i was in the market for a bronze and this one looked soo gorgeous. i was not disappointed. its not too green, not too gold, just the right amount of sparkle. as shadows go, i find all of the infallible shades i own to have above average staying power, wear time, and crease resistance. this shade is soft enough to go lightly and just do a sheer wash, but its just as easy to go full-on color. the packaging is a nuisance, but if that’s what it takes to get such nice shadows for under ten bucks i can live with it.

I got this at a drugstore when I saw the display on the counters. In the US this color is LE. I own several of the Infallible e/s and this has become one of my favorites pretty fast! I love the texture because it spreads better. If you’re looking for a warm toned bronze, this is more of a cool toned bronze or more of an antiqued gold. Definitely a unique color in the drugstore field. I hope they will bring this to the permanent line though..

I was really surprised how much I like this color on my NW20 lids (dark brown, almost black hair, brown eyes). The color, unlike a lot of “bronze” colors on me skews antiqued gold and not the reddish bronze of MAC’s Bronze. Yet, it is not, I repeat not, the orangey mess Woodwinked can produce. It is an antiqued gold on my eyes (seriously, I have antiqued gold fixtures in my house and that is what this looks like to me). It looks gorgeous with my brown eyes and doesn’t pull out my dark under eye circles. I also love how these Infallible shadows can be applied like a cream, like a pigment or like a regular e/s. The colors are all so pretty…I can’t stop myself from picking them up.

This review is for the new infallible CREAM e/s color, Gleaming Bronze #408. Just saying this because apparently there’s a same or similar color in loose powder version.
Anyhow, I got Bronze Taupe, which is one of my favorite – if not THE favorite – e/s in my stash, and when I saw this new color, I was very enthusiastic to try it. And I’m glad I did. This is a gorgeous mixture of bronze, brown, gold, and khaki green. Only this one is much more pigmented (or should I say ‘darker’?) than Bronze Taupe. I used as little of this as I use of BT, when I want just a wash of color (I swirl my pinky on the e/s ONCE), and it was definitely more visible. I’m not saying this is a bad thing at all, mind you. Just different.
Very nice with brown eyes, but I’m sure it flatters any eye color (must go beautifully with blue or green eyes). I’m very happy with it and I do recommend it.

This review is actually for Bronze Divine (#024) which I have reviewed separately as such on MUA. I think is the Canadian name for Gleaming Bronze (having read the descriptions and looked at the photo posted at the top of this review). Gleaming Bronze isn’t available in Canada but Bronze Divine is and I have to tell you, Bronze Divine is aptly named – this is a DIVINE eyeshadow on all counts. The colour is just amazing….the closest thing I can compare it to is MAC’s Golden Gaze MES from the Semi Precious Collection, an eyeshadow that I think is probably the most perfect and beautiful eyeshadow ever made…til now. Bronze Divine is even better… It’s a stunning greenish golden bronze with the most flattering and entrancing sheen. It is beautiful on my brown eyes, on the lid with a bit of black or dark brown shadow (matte or sheen) smudged on the outer V. Or it can work beautifully on its own from lid to crease with a black liner. And this stuff stays put all day without fading, creasing, budging at all (though application is wonderful – you can apply and blend this without tugging on your lids and as another reviewer said, it applies best with a finger, another “easy feature” of this shadow). This shadow would be fantastic at $30+ (Chanel Illusion d’ombre shadows, I’m looking at YOU) but at $10 or less, it is hard to believe how amazing it is. This is my 2nd Infallible “cream” eyeshadow (Permanent Kaki, my first, isn’t nearly as wonderful as Bronze Divine) and I sure do plan on getting a few more. Do yourself a favour, Canadian ladies, and GRAB this shadow.

Hands down my favorite infallible e/s and I own about 12 of them.
In the pot this looks like a tarnished gold color, but on the lid it is the most amazing golden/olive/brown-ish color that accentuates every bit of orange in my eyes.
Texture/formula is amazing, like all of the other infallibles. Lasts all day with a primer too.
I’ve never considered purchasing a b/u of anything, except for this. Since it is LE, I’m tempted to snag another one since I can’t see ever living without this color.

I picked this up as an afterthought, since I already got Bronzed Taupe, and didn’t really think I ‘needed’ 2 new bronze shadows. I detected a slight hint of khaki/green in this, though, and since I got such a good deal on these Infallible shadows at CVS, I couldn’t resist, and I am sooooo glad I got it! Sure enough, as others described, the khaki/green tones are much more noticeable on my lids than in the pot. This is a beautiful mix of khaki, gold, and brown, and it pairs beautifully with other shades in these color families. The texture of this is like a pressed, loose pigment. The little plastic insert, while kind of annoying, seems to help the shadow hold its form. This feels like a creamy powder. I apply using my fingertip (I tried with brushes, first, but find the application too sheer & uneven. I really think using my fingertip is ideal). I just blend a light layer all over my lid (or over a base layer of Infallible e/s in ‘Iced Latte’ to lighten it up a bit). The khaki-bronze shade is super flattering with my brown eyes. Its definitely a ‘warmer’ shade, though I think it would be flattering to many eye colors and skin tones. I don’t use a primer with this, as it lasts all day (a good 12+ hours on me) without fading, creasing, etc. I think this may be a LE shade (I found it in a special summer display) but its definitely worth picking up/seeking out. The shade is stunning, the texture is unique, and the staying power is superior, I highly recommend this shade & this line of eyeshadows! EDIT 6/4/2012—I have been experimenting with application techniques. If I want vibrant color, a crème-shadow finish, and if I am using it as a base, I still prefer applying with my finger. But for a softer effect and a wash of color (over other powder shadow+primer), I use my ELF eyeshadow brush to apply all over my lid. Either way, the color is beautifully dimensional, and the lasting power is awesome. I am loving the versatility of these!

So beautiful, like the other infallible eyeshadows. Needs fingers to apply as a brush won’t work, but the slight mess is totally worth it, lasts all day and is buildable so you can make it as natural or as dramatic as you like. Beautiful.

I love these eyeshadows. Reminds me of the Giorgio Armani ETK’s. This is a beautiful khaki bronze color. It looks better on than in the pot. It lasts all day and doesn’t crease on me. I think I’m up to six colors now. Can’t wait for new colors.
