This one was a letdown. The colors look pretty in the pan, and the brown color shows up decently, but overall, they have poor color payoff and disappear when I try to blend them. The aqua-green shade is okay as an inner corner highlighter if I apply it with a smudge brush, but overall, these are better as bases for other shadows than by themselves. But I agree with a reviewer below me that NYX jumbo eye shadows are the best bases of all and cost less than this.

I bought these when they were 75% off so got these quads for under $2 each. I ONLY bought them to use as bases for my e/s to stick to but I have to say that even at this price, it was a waste of my money. I have seen them work well on people’s arms when they are doing swatches but on my lids, I didn’t see much of a difference. Or even a good job adhering the e/s.
I would recommend the NYX jumbo eye pencils as bases over these. Those are $3 ea, so similar to the price I paid. I am NC35 and used Khaki Suede and Skinlights.

I own a couple of these quads and they are really versatile. I always use a primer or they crease terribly. I usually apply with a shadow brush, for some reason there is no applicator in the packaging. These make excellent bases and also blend beautifully. I certainly would repurchase other color quads.
