   I purchased a bunch of these and so far, I loved them. This one has become a bit of a hit/miss for me. I just don’t think it’s what I had in my head as “red” velvet – some of the shades are straight up ORANGE. I would have liked many more reds, and the few that look red, turn pink once you blend them out. The I Heart Revolution Tasty Chili palette has more actual “reds” than this one. I think these all run more orange or pink. Crumbs, Infuse, Red Velvet are the “redder”; Treat, Patisserie, Blend, Cupcake, Decadent – all are orange. Baked is a brown but leans orange. Bitter looks dark brown in the palette, but once on the eye, becomes a reddish plum brown. It has a red undertone. The whites are a bit chalky – Sweet is a shimmer, but once applied, I find that it completely disappears to nothing. Cream Cheese is a straight up white – I like it in my inner corner. Caramelize is the only real neutral crease shade so you end up using it for all your bases. Same for chocolate, another neutral but it pulls dark if you load too much on your brush. The shimmers are gorgeous, but I find if you try to apply them with your finger over and over, they stick to your finger and do not want to apply to your lid. I don’t mind the red shades, but the orange shades took me by surprise and I wish they would have had more red, so this palette will have limited looks. Not one of their bests for me.
