This is a beautiful palette. The colours are very fall (probably due to the red) however you can use more of the gold/brown to make it more suitable for other seasons. It’s a really nice colour combination, quite popular this palette is. It can used daytime or nighttime – very versatile. The same usual Tom Ford packaging.
I am however not the biggest fan of his wet/dry formula hence only 4 stars instead of 5. I find they are just a teeny bit harder to blend than his usual formula. So with this palette I have to spend a bit more time to make sure all the shadows are blended. The top left colour is stunning and I like using that as a top coat on my eyes.
Longevity is good, though I always use an eye primer (oily eyelids what not). Usually after 10 hours there is some fading but nothing too dramatic. I find the red colour fades the most.
It’s a lovely palette, however I am a makeup hoarder so if I ever finish this, may consider repurchasing though that maybe 10 years down the line!

Truly love this palette.
I have 7 other eyeshadow palettes fro TF and it is the one that I mostly reach out to.
Even though, some users claim that the palette is great only for evening looks, in my opinion, you can definitely use it during day time as well. The eyeshadows blend and apply really well. In addition, you can control the intensity of the eyeshadows yourself when applying them.
I love the looks you can create with this palette and I truly feel that they are unique. Even though, I have a very extensive eyeshadow palette collection (around 60 palettes altogether), I am still not able to find appropriate dupes for the shades in this palette.
The palette is a bit pricy and due to the fact that I have a pretty gargantuan collection of eyeshadow pallettes I did not want to spend the full amount on this palette. However, I was lucky enough to purchase the palette during Black Friday and received a substantial discount 🙂

I’ve been spoiled. I might have really really loved these shadows if it hadn’t been for Pat Mcgrath. But now that I own several of her palettes, I felt underwhelmed by this Tom Ford quad. The difference in price isn’t that big and you get a larger variety with Pat, so if you are deciding in which brand to invest (and like more out there colors and satin/shimmery formulas) I would choose hers. The pigmentation and blendability of those shadows will surprise you.
But we are talking about Honeymoon from Tom Ford, so I’ll focus on that.
If you enjoy very discreet smokey eyes and not very pigmented but satiny eyeshadows, then you are going to really enjoy this quad. The first shade, on top and on the left, is a light but warm copper. Compared with other similar shadows that I own, this one stands out because it has a slight orange tint to it. Surprisingly, I don’t have any dupe in my collection. The closest one is Bronze from the Subversive Metalmorphosis Mthrshp palette from Pat McGrath, but that one is considerably darker.
The second shade, on top and on the right, is a beautiful medium coppery bronze. It leans warm and has a subtle brownish-red undertone. Same as with the first shade, this characteristic makes it unique and trickier to dupe that I would imagine from just looking at it. I find that most shades like this are much more orange, pink or simply darker. This pairs really well with the first shade and could make a very simple eye look.
The third shade, on the bottom and on the left, is my favorite and the main reason I decided to buy the palette. I would describe it as a brownish cranberry with subtle burned red undertones. Cranberry from MAC leans cooler and with a plumish undertone instead of red, overall Tom Ford’s looks more sunset-ish (sorry, english is not my first language). I love it, but it looks darker on my eyes than I anticipated. I still enjoy it, but if you have light skin you might want to have that into consideration.
Lastly the dark brownish plum shade, the boring one in my opinion. This one looks almost mate, but it does have some little specs of shimmer. Very few. It looks like a dark purple with enough warmth to make a cohesive look with the rest of the shades. I normally don’t gravitate towards this type of colors, so I don’t have a dupe. All in all, I was surprise I didn’t have most shades in my collection already.
The formula is beautiful. Very soft to the touch and very easy to blend. I can apply them with my fingers as well and they perform perfect. If you want to intensify and darken the shades you can always use them wet. The packaging, as always with Tom Ford, is beautiful and very elegant. So, long story short, if you are into luxury makeup, don’t mind spending this much money on four shades of eyeshadow, and like warm shades, you will not regret purchasing this quad.

I`ve been eyeing Tom Ford shadows for ages, but the price always kept me in check, until I finally found them in duty-free at a Japanese airport. I wanted an elegant quad that I could wear both at the office and for an evening look, otherwise I could not justify spending so much, and Honeymoon fit the bill perfectly. I mean, everyone says Cocoa Mirage is the safest, but I own so many brown mattes, that it didn`t exicte me as much, and besides, I wanted to see what a shimmer texture from Tom Ford looks like. Well, I am not disappointed. This is certainly one of the most beautiful palettes I have ever owned, but the pigmentation, for me, seems to be on a par with a lot of Japanese cosmetics. If you`re familiar with Japanese eyeshadows, then you know that they are very similar to Estee Lauder shades, in the sense that they are not too pigmented, but more like a wash color. Could it be that Tom Ford reformulated these for the Asian market?! I don`t know, but imo, these were not as pigmented as I was lead to believe from other reviews. Still, I absolutely love them, because if they were more pigmented than this, they would look really garish on my fair skin. They are so buttery, easy to blend and gorgeous, and I can see why people rave about it. If I were to purchase another palette, it would be the vivid green and blue one, just because I love green shades.

Both Honeymoon and Nude Dip have a baked gelee formula which is different from the powders in the other Tom Ford eye quads (Orchid Haze, Cocoa Mirage, Seductive Rose, and so on). Honeymoon is the first Tom Ford palette that ever interested me because of its autumnal shades – these colors make blue eyes pop and that’s a huge selling point for me. You can do a somewhat colorful smoky eye with this. The quad includes a golden champagne followed by a yellow gold, a berry, and the darkest shade is an interesting brown that leans plum. Of the four pans, the plummy brown is closest to a matte but it’s really more of a satin with subtle shimmer – the shimmer is subdued, not particularly sparkly.
PROS:
1) The colors are beautiful and very rich. Honeymoon was the most pigmented of all the Tom Ford quads I swatched at Neiman Marcus.
2) If you have blue eyes, these shades will make them look even bluer.
3) This is a great formula for anyone who hates blending. These are smooth and easy to work with – in fact they seem to continue to blend themselves after they’ve sat on the skin for a few minutes. The lines sort of blur together when the shadows settle.
4) Applicators are included but I prefer to use my brushes from Wayne Goss, Trish McEvoy and MAC.
5) The packaging is simple but sufficiently sturdy. The plastic compact is dark brown with gold-colored accents, a mirrored lid, a magnetic closure and a faux suede pouch.
6) The size of the pans is generous compared to most other brands. I won’t run out anytime soon.
7) If you already have a palette of neutral mattes, Honeymoon can spice them up. For example, you can mix the berry or the golds with the brown mattes in Cocoa Mirage.
8) The colors stay fairly vivid for many hours, but if I’ve applied them dry around seven in the morning, they fade a little before five o’clock.
CONS:
1) It’s ridiculously expensive.
2) If I do not wear eye primer, there is some fading at the end of an eight-hour day.
3) There is no pale highlight shade in this quad so I find myself reaching for a single ivory shadow or a highlight powder for the brow bone (a minor annoyance).
4) If you buy exclusively cruelty free, this isn’t a CF brand.
The Verdict:
These are beautiful shadows and the formula is great. The spicy shades aren’t too wild or overwhelming on fair skin but they are rich enough to show up on darker complexions, too. However, I think Cocoa Mirage is a safer choice than this quad, only because Honeymoon’s colors are more vibrant than flesh tones and they’re all somewhat shimmery. But if you’ve already got plenty of neutrals, this is a gorgeous quad reminiscent of fall foliage.

This is just luxe! Pure luxury these powders are creamy like buttah. There is a pale taupe shade, dark satin violet, rose, & a darker taupe. My description certainly doesn’t do it justice.. this was my first TF$ quad I got nude dip & cocoa mirage on order TF$ is definitely up there for fave brand of mine. I consider this too 5 quads I own and I own a lot. Hard go resist TF$ and comes w a dust jacket & NICE useful applicators.
