I’ve sampled these in Satin Sheets and Chai. I’m very impressed with the pigmentation and the texture – Satin Sheets is so so pretty – like pale, spilled gold on my skin, it does kind of have that satin sheet look – much more finely sparkly than it looks in the bag. Chai looks like a dusty chai color, very matte on my skin. It’s kind of cool when names are actually accurate! Application would have to be very careful with these, as they are very loose and light – easy to make a mess! This whole range looks like so much fun to play with, especially the sparkly and shimmery ones. I don’t really play with colors so much though, so I am sticking with the basics I get from Mineral Fusion, which seem more subtle and easy to control since they are pressed. I think a stack of these could make a fun gift for someone else who likes to play with sparkles and colors – the colors are just so beautiful that it’s tempting just to buy them to admire, ha! I can see how others might find the stacking convenient – I personally would have preferred these in pressed form, they’d be a lot neater and easily stored in a magnetic case.
As with all Honeybee Garden items, I feel it’s important to know that if you buy directly from the company, there is a no cancellation policy, and a 15% administrative fee is charged if you return an item for any reason other than it arrived damaged or defective. So….samples are really the way to go, imho.

This is a loose powder in a stackable, screw top container. I have the color Spellbound, which is a matte, dusty lilac purple. I like that the better ingredients in this eyeshadow and that it is gluten free. Spellbound is a pretty color, but it is not pigmented enough for me, and gives a barely there hint of color. It does not irritate my eyes and lasts all day with a primer.
