Havana appears bronzey in the pan but comes out as a smoked out satin neutral brownish. The appearance feels like silk and also it’s fairly pigmented and lasts well with primer. Not specifically one-of-a-kind but very wearable. If easy smokey is your thing you’re going to enjoy it!

I got Havana at a close-by CCO for $18. (Which is one of the most I have actually ever before spent for a single e/s) I think they went with around $20 when they were first launched.
I have tons of e/s and never ever am faithful to one. But Havana is different than anyother e/s I possess. It is smooth feeling and the e/s feels practically ventilated in the pan. I utilize this e/s greater than any other e/s!
When I use it, it is a gorgeous antique gold on my deep skin. My favorite component is that HAvana resembles a various shade relying on what component of the lid it rests on. I just placed it from my inner lid to my outer lid and it looks like I smoked out the outer component of my eye. I ENJOY THAT !! I use this whenever I remain in a hurry and don’t have time to develop a whole eye search for the day.
Even though I initially assumed it was costly when i purchased, I utilize it more than any e/s! I woulda paid complete cost plus a back-up.

$24 Canadian for the big sized shadow (similar in dimension to the Pro Longwear and also Huge Metal/Peacocky pans) so an excellent worth for a LOT of product. Mind you, considering that I have never even strike frying pan on a single MAC shadow, I would probably be happier to have a SMALLER amount at a reduced price, but MAC seems to be moving toward these larger darkness pans in a number of current collections.
This darkness is from MAC’s Additional Measurement collection. I actually desired the shade Modern Pewter yet they were marketed out of it. I was truly disappointed and sort of “in the state of mind” to buy something from this line, as I wished to try this new formulation. Of the 4 or 5 tones left, Havana was the just one that attracted me. I have a lot of bronzey brownish shadows that I was a bit luke-warm regarding getting this up until I swatched it and after that swatched Twinks, Sable and Alluring alongside and also realized this was really various certainly. It’s not as red brown as I would certainly feared it would certainly be from a great deal of the summaries I’ve read at various blog sites; instead, it is an attractive rich golden bronze brown, a little bit comparable to Burning Ambition when you consider them in the frying pans yet this uses so in a different way – virtually like “liquid molten gold” (though it’s not completely gold – it’s brownish).

Great pigmentation, special (I assume) colour, great wear (I utilize a base but I think these are intended to last even used without one). Definitely an actually good darkness to include in your collection if you can still get it (unusually, it is sold out online as well as yet Modern Pewter, which sold out really promptly at my regional MAC, the SA said, is still readily available and I simply may buy it).
