Glass Bull is a super pretty shadow, and fairly unique. The formula is interesting, and in a way it reminds me of Urban Decay Moondust shadows, but it is also different. GB isn’t super-pigmented, but it can be built up or layered easily over a base to give it more opacity. It might not be the most work-friendly shadow for many people, but it does amp up otherwise neutral eyeshadow looks by adding a bit of dimension via the duochrome. I find it to be very versatile, so it is totally worth the space it takes up in my stash. For the price, the quality is great, and with a primer it definitely lasts all day.

This is a very interesting eyeshadow. It’s a sheer brownish purple base with a bright light blue in the pan, but on my eyes, this is a pretty neutral color with a turquoise shift in good light conditions, and a light purple with a violet blue shift in “bad” light; you can see the difference in the shift slightly in the picture where there’s more and less light). It’s a pretty neutral, SHEER color, so in my opinion, this is totally work appropriate. The quality of the eyeshadow is also very good: the color doesn’t need a primer or to be wet to show up full force (as mentioned, it is sheer). I think the pictures on the Colourpop sites and many other places don’t really depict the color quite right. All of the Colourpop eyeshadows I have last on me all day long, and I would definitely recommend checking them out. The Glass Bull shade is, IMO, a unique shadow, although the Sailor Super Shock shadow is comparable (but I like it slightly less) – for those that want a beige base instead of the transparent brown-purple.
You can buy these as only a pan or with a little box. The box is very cute, with a max size mirror. The box is useful for those wanting to only bring a couple eyeshadows around, but I wish Colourpop would make some empty 4-6 shadow palettes, as that would be much more useful for me personally :]
