I couldn’t help myself. I finally had to cave in and get this palette.
I was a senior in high school in the year 2000. I was pretty heavily into the mall goth scene, but since I hung around with a bunch of candy ravers, I tended to gravitate toward shimmery, colorful eyeshadow. A couple months ago, I became hellbent on finding a palette that had multiple shimmering, pale shades to choose from, and it absolutely needed to have a lilac purple shade. As luck would have it, this palette has two shimmering lilac shades among all the other gorgeous shades in the collection!
Each shade is pigmented and fairly smooth. They’re baked, so they won’t be as buttery as a pressed powder, but honestly, I’m impressed with how smooth and pigmented they are. I’ve found in the past that baked shadows require a lot more work than a pressed powder, but these are pretty easy to work with! I love applying shimmer shadows with my fingers because I find that gets the best payoff. With these, one swipe really does give a beautiful, pale wash! It’s true that there are no mattes or transition shades in this palette, but I didn’t buy it for a one-and-done kind of deal. Besides, the whole point of buying this palette was to relive my perhaps ill-advised high school eye looks!
The packaging is lovely. I’m a fanatic when it comes to astronomy, so of course I love this. The shade names, the look of the palette, and the sturdiness (and full mirror!!) really make me happy!
You get a total of 32g of product in this palette. Which for $21 at Ulta is pretty darn cheap, considering how the Milani palettes have 9g and cost only $1 less. It’s because of the good value for money and great quality that I’m now considering buying several other palettes from Bh Cosmetics.
As long as they keep making this palette, I’ll repurchase whenever I run out. It’s absolutely one of my favorite palettes I’ve ever owned!

My absolutely favorite palette! It looks great in the palette and even greater on my skin!

I was initially intrigued by the name of this palette – I had
always wondered why cosmetics manufacturers don’t seem to find inspiration in gorgeous astronomical images. I bought it as a sort of collector’s item, not intending to use it. ( I thought the colors would be too chalky and / or light for my warm caramel skin.) But I
was pleasantly surprised at the wearability of the shadows. I swirl some of the apricot and berry shades to get a nice understated blush for weekday morning makeup. I use the minty green shadows for highlighting my browbone. I’m definitely purchasing multiples for my office drawer and carry on luggage.

This is my go to for super glam looks. It’s rare to find a mineral eyeshadow, especially baked, that is useable and blendable. But this does both! There is a fair amount of fallout that is typical of baked eyeshadow. But it’s stunning and hyperpigmented. It stays in place. Doesn’t crease.

Bought this at Charming Charlie’s, saw the price and product and decided it was a good buy. The colors are so shimmery and can be used as highlighters as well. Will ALWAYS be my fave palette

This is my first palette and I believe I lucked out. Lively colors, nice payoff, shimmery…what’s not to like. I am very pale and some of the colors won’t work for me, but more colors than not, do. Really, really like it.

This palette is out of this world! (Sorry…I couldn’t resist!) The colors are varied and FABULOUS. As a fan of shimmer, this baby delivers. I use it over a primer and the wear time is very good. Quite pigmented and silky. And the price is outrageously cheap for the wonderful product. Packaging is somewhat flimsy but totes adorbs. I adore the space theme too.
Overall I can highly reccomend this palette.
Happy beautifying!

I am a new fan of BH Cosmetics and have accumulated 6 of their eye shadow palettes so far. I debated on buying this one for quite a while because I think these colors might be too bright and vibrant for me. In other words I may be too old to wear these colors. There are quite a few that would fall into that category but others that are more neutral that I may still be able to pull off.
Sun – peachy golden color, I like this one for the lid
Jupiter – bright pink color (strawberry pinky-red)
Prometheus – berry color
Aphrodite – cranberry color
Milky Way – shimmery lavender
Cosmic – shimmery lavender, slightly darker than Milky Way
Saturn – golden color, another favorite for the lid
Venus – orange color
Meteor – shimmery light aqua
Comet – shimmery mint green
Earth – shimmery light blue
Neptune – medium to darker blue
Mercury – golden bronze color
Mars – shimmery plum
Asteroid – shimmery plum, very similar to Mars
Electra – shimmery light blue
Moon – shimmery purple
Pluto – shimmery purple, slight difference from Mars
I found a lot of the colors to be similar to one another, many blues, aquas, lavenders, purples, plums, etc. I think maybe other colors could have been represented rather than duplicates of the same colors, such as a greens or grays. I personally would have liked to see more bronzey and coppery colors in place of the colors that are similar.
I use the warmer tones the most, the golds, bronze, even the pinks, plums and orange color. I am not sure I can still pull off the light aqua, blue and lavender colors at my age, makes me wish I had this palette long ago when those colors were more wearable for me and I could get away with it.
Even so, I think this is a great deal for the price, I paid around $12 for this palette, which is less than a dollar for each shadow and I have had fun experimenting with the colors. I like spaced theme things so after a while I decided I just had to have it. Though the Supernova palette which I also have and really enjoy is probably better suited for my age group. Honestly, I prefer this palette over Supernova though which surprises me a little.
Would I purchase again? I definitely would, I really do dig this palette. I give it 5 stars.

Stunning colors with a wonderful galaxy theme. It took me a long time to use this because I didn’t want to mess up the colors lol. It has a nice sized mirror, good mix of warm and cool toned shades to choose from and the shimmer is easy on the eyes. It has great pigmentation but doesn’t last too long on my lids without a primer. This and the Supernova palette are fun to play with. Ulta sells this online so far.

The colors are so pigmented and buildable, they’re all baked eyeshadow so its full of shimmer but the shimmer is sooo thin it catches the light in such a beautiful way you shine on a lovely way❤
