Went to Mac Pro store in NYC and JUST as I had finished paying, I noticed a slight shimmer on the MA’s cheeks and I asked her what blush she had on. She gushed and said that she loves blushes and mentioned a color and she had topped it off with Vellum, which was a Mac Pro color. I asked if I could buy it since I wasn’t a member and she said “Of course!” This color looks so nice on top of blush right on your cheekbones. My friends had been MIA and had asked me what happened and I told them about the color and all I could say was that it reminded me of a mermaid. (Don’t ask. lol) I swatched it on my friend while we were already in the elevator and she geeked out and desperately wanted to go back to get it, but they were closed. so NOTE: THIS COLOR is STILL AVAILABLE IN MAC PRO STORES! AND NO YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER 🙂

Oh man – this eyeshadow is great! Next to vanilla this is probably my most used white shade. It’s a nice soft white with a lot of blue and purple undertones in it which make it a nice, fun color to try blending over darker bases. On it’s own this works as the perfect highlight for both cool and warm looks. The color isn’t too in your face like a lot of whites – it definitely works with your skin color and also manages to hang on without rubbing away.

Vellum is a Frost shadow from MAC and I believe it’s been discontinued. It’s a pretty white shade with blue-violet iridescence. I LOVE using this for the inner corners of my eye, on the browbone to highlight, or on top of darker colors to add iridescence. Since I prefer to wear blues, teals, blacks, greys, greens and purples, this really looks fantastic with those colors.
