#305 Fired-up pink is an eyeshadow single from the Flamed Out collection of eyeshadow pots. I picked this up last summer from HEB and this is part of the core collection. I needed something nude and to add a little warmth and depth to my eye crease/outer lid. I love the color of this shadow and it is a warm medium pink with what appears to be silvery shimmers throughout. The shimmers aren’t glittery though and this really isn’t sparkly for the most part, but they do add some light and life to this. I have been using this for 6 months now and I just don’t like it. It’s dry, powdery, hard to get from the pan, very light in pigment so you really have to work to try to build up any color. I am fair skinned so it should show easily on me, but it doesn’t and it takes too long to work any color up and it’s hard to get from the pan. I still try use this because I don’t like to be wasteful, but honestly I really should toss this out as every time I pull it out for use, I am unhappy with it. Don’t waste your money on this dud like I did. I am very forgiving with small flaws and less than perfect makeup, but in general Cover Girl and I go way back with a dislike for each other and this is why. The lack of quality of this and the poor performance is exactly why I don’t care for Cover Girl cosmetics. I rarely find a product I am satisfied with from their lines. I gave this a second lipstick instead of one because I do love the color. The product is crap.
