I LOVE the compact size of these! Super portable! Can easily fit about 3 of them in your palm. Other than that the eyeshadow itself isn’t the best, is kind of hard to get out of the case and apply, and mine seems to cache. Super cute case by the way, all gold! Maybe if it wasn’t so hard to apply I’d give it a better rating!

They look BEAUTIFUL in the pans & swatched on your arm (I purchased 03 Florence)….BUT, they don’t translate like that onto your eyes though. If they were a cohesive powder form, they would likely rock. Instead, they are a gel-like texture that applies VERY patchy with your finger & a brush won’t even pick any product up. Did I mention the enclosed silicone spatula? Very big individual glops of foil-like glitter that don’t apply as a cohesive wash on the lids. Only use I found for them was to dab a little on the center of my lid over my usual powdered eyeshadow (on the round portion of your eye socket) to catch a little light. Anymore than a light application results in major fallout and the glitter chunks migrate all over your face.

I am sitting at work right now so embarrassed because my entire face is glittering like a disco ball. I just bought this on a whim on my lunch hour and came back and did my eye makeup. I really like the concept behind this, I like the consistency and the colors are beautiful (I have 01 Milan). But there hare HUGE chunks of glitter in this. I can’t return this quick enough. And the darn glitter will not come off!!!

NW13. True Summer coloring.
I purchased these without doing any research, and I sort of had a feeling in my stomach that they were not going to be good… somehow Milani products have a way of looking amazing but not living up to the hype.
I love the colors, I love the vibrancy, but they are so inconsistent. They can be really hard to pick up with a brush, and even harder to distribute evenly. When it did work, it was a gorgeous editorial look from all of the sheen. One quad creased horribly, but the other did not.
UPDATE: if you do buy these, use your FINGERS to dab the product and pat your lid = high potency color. They will crease after a few hours, less so if set with powder.
I ultimately don’t like these, they ended up having glitter in them, which somehow migrates all over during the wear.

Is it possible to give a product zero lippies? If so, this one would get it. I picked this up at CVS because I like metallic/foiled shadows and the colors were nice (I have Florence). I thought they were powder shadows, but they’re cream. Nowhere did it say on the display that they were cream. I tried two colors this morning over eye primer and this stuff is one big greasy, creasy, glittery, fall out mess and they’re not that pigmented. I wouldn’t call these foiled shadows as they are actually glittery… there is a difference. Back to CVS it goes!

I have this in #1 Milan and #3 Florence which are the bronzier/gold quads. The product is very creamy, which was surprising because I bought them without hearing any hype about them and thus, wasn’t expecting a cream. They remind me of the Loreal infallibles, but a much creamier version.They swatch incredibly well but because of their creamy consistency they need a good blending with a synthetic brush to even out the color when placed on the lid. I haven’t used them on their own but instead used them as a base for my shadows; the result was a beautiful depth and complexity to my eye look. I haven’t experienced any creasing or fading.
These two quads have stunning gold micro shimmer running through the shadows and they look beautiful when packed unto the center of the lid or buffed out into the corner/crease. When I was finished with my eye look I placed a bit of the gold and pink shades right unto the center of the lid and it catches and reflects the light beautifully. I would love to go back and pick up the rest of these especially since they were BOGO 1/2 at CVS and such a great product.
