This looks like a light pink with sparkle in packaging. But on me it came off a lot darker : ( not what I was hoping for

great eyeshadow, it falls out a bit but managable, I wore it on my wedding day

I don’t usually get high end make-up but I got this as a gift and I am IN LOVE. The silver sparkle is very classy, not at all tacky looking glitter. It’s very fine and perfectly evenly distributed. The pink itself is very unique – delicate pale nude pink, somehow with beige and peach undertones?! Not sure how it works but it’s amazing. When applied wet or over a good primer, more of the peach tone comes out and it loses any sense of powderiness. The whole thing just “becomes” the color of your lid. Even applied dry with no primer, it looks beautiful just slightly more pink toned with more of the usual powder eyeshadow appearance. As I said I really don’t buy high end makeup as I don’t have the budget for it but I would repurchase this if I lost it or when I hit pan because it’s so unique and pretty.

So pretty! Pink with lilac/nude beige/silver tones and little specks of glitter. Applies well and lasts all day. Very girly unique shade!

I got mine in the nars wicked attraction set. This is a lilac colored glitter bomb! On application the fallout is crazy. There`s sliver specks all over my eyes and on my face. But having said that due to the glitter, this photos very well as it reflects light. I only use this for salsa parties/camwhore events where there`s plenty of facebook photo uploads. Fathom, with tons of silver shimmer brightens the eye area… a great product if u have eye bags!
But this is a no-no for the 9-5 office! I suggest using this as a fun product for weddings/parties etc

I’m not an eyeshadow person and debated on buying this for months. I’m glad I did. It is the perfect tulle pink to make your eyes look sexy, not too candy-pink or too nude. The silver glitter doesn’t last, that’s true, but it didn’t bother me terribly. I do wish the shadow itself lasted longer and if it had, I’d be rating this a 5. As it is, it’s still quite pretty.

Hmmmm…this shade is not my favorite to say the least. The shade looks amazing under “shop” lights but in my poorly lit bathroom, after realizing it took approx. 3-4 applications to get it to look baby pink, i decided it wasn’t worth it. This eye shadow isn’t pigmented at all…you have to really dig into it with an eye brush and use an eye shadow primer so it will even show up at all! The silver sparkles that twinkled and looked so pretty in the store, got all over my face at the end of a 2 hour period. I really want to like NARS eye shadows, but this is not worth the price.

I am not sure about this shadow. It is very sheer and not very pigmented. I almost want to call it chalky because it is a very dry shadow, unlike others such as UD which feel almost “wet” when applying. I had to apply this over my UDPP primer because my ELF primer, which works amazing for every other mid to high end shadow I own, failed epically with this one. I did not get much of the glitter to stay on my lid with the shadow so the color was just very blushy-looking. I used this by its self because I just wanted a single light color to brighten my lid since my main focus was eyeliner. I guess this color is OK for that purpose, but I really feel that this is not the best quality and is NOT worth $23. This is my second NARS shadow and I have not been very impressed with either of them.

Fathom is definitely what a previous reviewer calls an effect shadow. I agree that the light tulle pink is just a “vehicle” for the tiny silver glitter. You don’t wear this shadow to see a pigmented baby pink. You wear it for the mini glitters! I love it because I can swipe this over any color eyeshadow to create a subtle sparkly look that is even work appropriate. The pink is so light it can even nicely blend out harsh lines of color, or as a base for a darker color. $23 is expensive but the pans are bigger than Mac shadows, and this color is so versatile. I would rebuy ( not any time soon since it will take me a long time to finish) once I use it up.

Oh Fathom, why oh why…
I was bewitched by this in Sephora…under those bright lights this was the perfect matte baby pink with diamond twinkles. Gorgeous.
Annnnnd on:
Have to work with this one—layer layer to get the pink to show true. Have a feeling it wouldn’t stay that color for too many hours. I wore this once, and for about 30 minutes. I am still trying to get silver sparkles off of my face…to echo another reviewer’s sentiments—“fall-out city!”
Will be returning after one use.
