This is a cool dusty mauve, as opposed to MAC Haux which is more warm. It’s an interesting color but I actually struggled to find looks to use this in. The cool shade just looked weird and I never liked what I came up with. I much prefer warmer dusty pinks.
The formula is powdery to the point where blending it is difficult; it gets everywhere! I can’t seem to make a nice shape with it because it’s so powdery. Between the formula and never using it, I got rid of this shade.

I ordered this for my niece and she did not like it, she said it was a strange color when you put it on, so I tried it on and it went on very chalky and hard to blend….

Another lovely versatile color from MUG. Great transition colour from crease to outer lid. Goes with browns or deep purple and makes my hazel ( mostly brown) eyes pop. So shimmery and creamy. Long lasting even without a primer coz I tend to forget to put primer on in my morning fog.

I was *so* intimidated by this shade as it was my first foray into color. Unexpected is a very gentle, mauvey purple so it’s not crazy or anything, but I stared at this in my palette for weeks before committing to trying it out. Turns out I’m just insane because this color is amazing. It goes well with every other shadow I own and complements my hazel eyes like no other. I can pair it with other purples and pinks easily, but it also pairs well with creams and peaches and browns! I tend to use this on the outer corner or through the crease, but I’m sure it would look equally lovely on the center of the lid as well.
Pros:
* versatile
* very creamy
* pigmented
* silky, soft application
* very blendable
* long-lasting
* fits well in many palettes (I purchased the standalone pan)
Cons:
* doesn’t look impressive in the pan, so it’s easy to overlook
* edges need just a bit more blending than other colors

This is absolutely awesome! I love the warm mauve brown tone for blending out a smoky purple eye or a transition for a coppery brown smokey eye. I have green eyes and this is an everyday shadow for me. It has perfect pigmentation, not too dark or too light and it is creamy and not chalky at all. I have light to medium skin with warm undertones and it is very flattering. It has a warmth to it which I have been looking for in a pinky neutral. So many are too cool or too orange for me. I have been collecting the Makeup Geek shadows and love them all but this is one of their best!
