This is one of the a-bit- better eye shadow of the batch that I bought recently.
Colour average, a lot of brands carry this more or less similar colour… very pigmented to the point of fall out, but not as much as pixie dust…same performance, crease after 4-5 hrs even with primer.
I am truly regretting the money I spent on Makeup Geek, I should have purchased Mac or Inglot instead.

Extremely pigmented and very shimmery !
its a very beautiful neutral for brown skin tones. one of my favourites in my kit 10/10 !

The moment I unpacked them, I removed the label from each of the shadow and applied the magnet on the bottom. On top of the magnet, I reapplied the label. There were no problems with removing the label. I used a flexible magnet. I believe it is 0.6 mm thick – but you can go up to 1 mm of thickness. Those types of magnets are used for sticking pictures on fridges. I saw them on eBay for approx. $10 (internationally) per sheet. It is quite expensive, but you’ll get more then 30 shadow stickers from it.
It came 2 weeks after I ordered.
Moondust is described as metallic silver taupe, and I completely agree with them. The shade is not similar to MAC Patina. Moondust is cool toned, but the taupe in it will make it work good on those with neutral undertones, too. It is medium dark, and for my NC15 skin, it won’t be an everyday, work-safe shade.

So many people online describe this as a silvery taupe with a touch of green, and I think that’s why some were disappointed by it. The tone is what makes it unique though. This needs a glitter primer to fully shine and for the true beauty to come out. Applying with your finger works better than a brush for some people. Give it a chance with more than one primer or technique before tossing it or giving it away.

I bought this, Bling, and Peach Smoothie. I’m not sure if I got a bad batch of these or what was up. When applied, whether alone or over an eyeshadow primer (yes I used UDPP, NYX & a concealer), they were really dry & patchy. Not as smooth and creamy feeling as Wet N Wild eyeshadows (which are what I’m used to and are my favorite).
Peach smoothie was an okay peachy color. Very similar to the peach found in WNW’s I <3 Matte/Drinking a Glass of Shine (go to upper right and then down one). The color Moondust & Bling weren't found within the Wet N Wild eyeshadows I had. A lot of the colors were too brown compared to Moondust (which is a nice gray). If Moondust wasn't so patchy I'd love it to death. I've been trying to find that weird gray or gray-brown color that you can apply over the lid and under the eye to create a smokey look. As for Bling it's a nice highlight color but gets cakey & patchy too. If it weren't for that I'd enjoy it too.
I'll use these up but won't buy any more. I'll try to find alternatives. These are just so dry and patchy.

I have to agree with dddoxie’s review – this one is cooler toned than expected. I bought it hoping for a slightly browner version of MAC Patina. Greyer yes, but browner? Not so much.
It’s just not flattering on my paler than NC15 skin.
Still it’s a quality shadow and I have to give it credit for good pigmentation and staying power but just wish it didn’t make me look so blah and tired.

I pined over this shadow for months. After I finally got it, I’m sadly underwhelmed by it! I’ve only worn it twice because I find it really ‘meh’ on me. I wanted to love it, but I just wish it was a bit warmer. It pulls very grey on my lids and makes my eyes look tired. All of the swatches I’ve seen online make it look warm-toned. I also had to pack on a couple layers to get the desired pigmentation. it’s not unpigmented at all, but lost some of it’s intensity once I applied it and other shadows to the crease.

MUG Moondust is a beautiful combination of taupe, brown and silver with shimmer – simply gorgeous! Pigmentation is great, texture feels almost buttery like, blendability and staying power are really good – all those qualities for only $6!
I find this color to be very versatile and suitable for both day and night wear. I love to pair it with MUG Corrupt when I want a dramatic look.
On the website, Moondust was swatched next to MAC Patina for comparison – they’re not exact dupes for each other but you get a good idea of what the shade looks like. It also reminds me a tiny bit of MAC LE Smoke and Diamonds in terms of finish, except that the latter has more silver in it, so even more on the cooler side than Moondust.
I really love this color and I can see myself using it again and again. If you wanted to get some Makeup Geek e/s but wasn’t sure which ones to chose first, I would definitely recommend to buy Moondust and Corrupt to start with – they’re awesome!

Moondust is described as a silvery taupe, I would say it is Mac Vex and Patina’s love child! Such a gorgeous complex color, with a creamy texture that is easy to apply and to blend. Pigmentation is awesome too.
For me, definitely a unique shade and one of the must haves from the MUG range!
