I feel very “Meh” about this shadow. Very average. It’s a fairly neutral medium brown. Sort of like MAC cork but pinker. I use it on my lower lash line and occasionally in the crease.
My issue is that it’s too soft, powdery. I can’t build a sharp color with it, as in a crisp under eye line. It’s like it’s a faded brown. Maybe I need to work more with it, but it’s very uninspiring to work with. It’s too warm/pink to work for brows. It’s too light in the crease. And I don’t think it’s pretty enough to stand alone as a kid shade. I keep it around to use with my other Makeup geek shadows as the neutral brown to blend with the others, but I frequently find myself pulling out my MAC shadows to use instead. I usually use MAC texture instead.

This may not be a unique color, but it is one of those essential shades. To compare, I usually use MAC Cork in the crease. MUG Latte has replaced that! Crazy but MAC doesn’t have something really to compare to it. The MUA at MAC told me cork was a nice warm crease color. After seeing them next to each other, Cork is not warm AT ALL. It is dusty and ashy.
MUG Latte is lighter than Swiss Chocolate, but adds a beautiful warmth Cork lacks.
So even though it looks like a plain brown in the pan, it has the most beautiful warmth and adds life to my eyes just by using it as a blending color. Texture is perfect and for the price I would buy this even over drugstore browns.

Latte Is a light/medium matte brown with red undertones. It very smooth to the touch and swatches evenly. It applies nicely to the lid and is great for the outer eyelid. I wouldn’t call this color very unique it is very dupable its very similar to NYX dark brown however it runs slightly more red.
