This is a very interesting, complicated color. It’s both taupe and pink, and not decidedly one of the other. For that reason, it’s not always clear how to use it. It’s too light to use as a crease color unless I’m going for a *very* natural look, but it’s not a clear candidate for lid color. Overall, I found that this works best as a lid and transition color for cool pinky looks when I want to play up the neutralness. Quality is great, as usual, with fine blendability and pigmentation, and somewhat good lasting power. Packaging feels very nice and substantial, though I wish I could purchase a pan for a free standing palette.

Beautiful color for a natural look. I have the Basics palette, which I also enjoy, but the pinky tint in this one shadow is beautiful for my fair skin and green eyes.

I’ve been searching for so long for a shade like this, until I saw it in King Power Store in Phuket. In Romania we don’t have UD store and Spehora doesn’t bring UD products often, so I usually buy their stuff from the internet.
Well… When I saw this, I knew this was going to be mine! It’s the perfect combination of taupe and pink. I have broqn eyes and it looks amazing. And I think this would look amazing on every eye color. Looks very natural, but in the same time it could be a bit retro when you put a cateye eyeliner. And as usual UD eyeshadow blend like a creme. Wonderful!

My latest addition to my eyeshadow collection is this little gem, which is described as a “pinky taupe matte” on the UD homepage. For a natural everyday look I prefer matte eyeshadows and Laced really does an excellent job either as a wash over the lid or for a little definition in the crease. Love it!!

This is one of my all-time favorite eyeshadows! It’s a pale taupe with a pink tone. It works as both a casual daytime look when you blend dark brown eyeshadow into the outer corner, or you can make it look really sultry and sexy but the matte keeps it subtle. Great with red lips! Only complaint is that it doesn’t have the really buttery texture most UD eyeshadows have, but it’s perfectly serviceable. If you’ve used a matte shade in a UD palette, it’s the same kind of formula. But it works fine! I wear it all the time and haven’t hit pan (I’ve had it for approx. 1 year). Just a great go-to shadow.

This is like silk on the lids! great for a lid color or a transition color! such a soft,pretty perfect blend of beige,pink and lavender.
This color does show up in the UD “VICE” palette!
I had a Sephora employee dig for a new one because there was no more on display. I adore UD’s packaging. The design and the silver color gives off such a sleek sexy feel!
I dont care if youre into neutrals or not and what your makeup style is…”LACED” is a MUST! you must have this in your makeup collection. Its one of those colors that any woman needs to have.

This is a recommended shadow by my favorite blogger, Kate from the Small Things Blog, and has become one of my favorite eye shadows. I would describe this as a pinkish-taupe with a HINT of lavender. It is a matte shade, so I love using it as a lid color. I have very neutral undertones (N4 in MAC Studio Fix powder), dark brown hair and green eyes. This shade enhances my features stunningly. It has a creamy texture and glides on my lid with no pulling or tugging and it wears all day with no creasing or fading, even without a primer. I’m in love with this and will consider other Urban Decay shadows in the future <3

Laced is described on the UD website as a matte pink-taupe. I can see that, but the pink and the taupe mixed together give it a muted lavender tone almost (at least on my NW20 skin, very pink skinned eyes, almost black hair, brown eyes). It is definitely more on the taupe side than the pink side. I would think fans of MAC Satin Taupe may love this(keep reading even if you hated Satin Taupe). Oddly enough though (& listen up to this), I hated Satin Taupe on my eyes. It was too icy and made me look like I had a black eye. BUT THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE WITH LACED. Laced just looks like a lovely pink/purple toned matte taupe…no “icy” issue…just completely neutral. I think any skin tone can pull this off. Any way, I broke down and bought this for several reasons: 1) It is a lovely matte base for any pink or purple toned look and I wanted it for a quad I have. 2) Laced is as versatile as Urban Decay’s Naked. 3) It is one of the few purple/taupe type shades I can actually wear…it is not too icy, just perfectly neutral. 4) It’s matte, a cashmere feeling/looking matte. I love my shimmer here and there, but sometimes I just want a basic eye.
