To be honest, I wouldn’t have been as happy if I’d paid full price for this palette but as I found it for $7.99 at TJ Maxx I cant be too mad.
The pigmentation is lacking to say the least. It is buildable but don’t expect to see any real color until the third or fourth layer unless you’re using a darker color. There’s no mattes- the whole palette is shimmery, which is a bit disappointing.
The colors themselves are quite lovely but it would’ve been nice to haves couple more lighter/transition shades.
Overall it’s something I might pick up on occasion and use a couple colors out of but not something I would buy again and certainly not at full price. ????

I regret purchasing this palette. It’s the worst makeup product I’ve ever bought. I love the packaging it’s absolutely gorgeous, but the actual product itself is really bad. The main issue with this palette is the lack of pigmentation. Some of the colors are fine, but others are really bad. If you are thinking of buying this palette, I would suggest that you watch some videoes on youtube where they swatch this palette. For the quality of this palette, the price is way to high. It was a big dissapointment, and I never use this palette. I’ve heard that the other palettes in the “eyes are the window” collection is way better, but I don’t own any of them. I can’t believe that a brand like Stila would sell stuff with this kind of bad quality.

This is such a great palette. A+ packaging for functionality and aesthetics. It’s so hard to find a fun and practical cool toned palette and this one knocks it out of the park.
The shades and finishes are really well thought out. The bright sparkly shades are transluscent, so you get easily have a dramatic look without it becoming a garish “worst of the eighties” nightmare. I either wear them as a bright sheer wash of color or layer them with the neutrals. I like that I the shadows are formulated to keep the look sophisticated. It’s so easy to go overboard with blues and greens but this makes it easy. The dark shades smoke out nicely and true to pan on the eye..
I’ve bought the ABH Modern Renaissance and Laura Mercier Artist palette this past year and this Stila Body palette trumps both for my cool olive medium skin tone. The versitily can’t be oversated!
If you favor cool toned shades and want to add interest to your eye makeup but arent looking for solid metallics, you will really enjoy this.

Amazing! I love the payoff, the cute mermaid-y shades and the overall finish. This has a lovely fairy-like aesthetic to it, with colours for deep emerald green looks, sapphire, lilac, and peachy champagne. You need very little to achieve a strong look, so it will last for ages. I think this is honestly so beautiful. I love it more than both Urban Decay’s Naked 1 & 3!
