   Got a sizeable discount on this palette direct from the Stila website. Pretty colors, but only a couple are mattes. Rest are mostly satin/shimmer. Quality is pretty good; however, one shade (Kitten) has noticeable fallout when applying it, but it’s not major and once its on the lid, it seems to stay put. I haven’t tried applying it yet with a setting spray to see if it helps reduce this. The packaging no longer has the embossed seal on the top, but I do like how sturdy the case is, how the lid easily opens but securely stays shut with a magnet. Equally good is the giant mirror in the lid. It’s not a small palette, but it’s not a giant oversized one either. I think this would be a good size if traveling on an extended trip. With a little Duraline, I could see this being able to provide a lot of varied looks for both shadow and liner.

   I like this palette more or less. It has a lot of popular classic Stila shades from the 2000’s that I wanted to pick up again (at half price of course) for nostalgic reasons. The formulas don’t totally feel the same but that’s okay because every single pan I have ever had of Kitten has fallen apart, whether in a palette or a single pan. This hasn’t yet so I am happy about this. I would say the quality is slightly below the old singles. Stila has been sold a few times and dropped from Sephora, so again not surprising.

   I have mixed feelings. The colors are very wearable, not particularly exciting (even for this neutral girl) but like I said, this is a best of peak 2000’s Stila. (Remember when all the Charlie’s Angels actresses were pushing this brand hardcore?! RIP: The ridiculously over priced lip glaze and its gross click up, un-hygenic brush tip.) This is a solid “basic” palette and if palettes were allowed to stay on shelves long enough to be repurchased anymore; this would be an amazing choice. I think the fact that there is such a high volume of releases coming at you from every angle, now buries a palette like this from a brand too old to be considered “lit.”

   Price is $49.00 but I got mine on sale for 50% and the 2nd one 50% off plus another 25% off. I would not pay full price but if you can catch them on sale, I think they are very nice palettes.

   I love this palette and even repurchased it. I love the colors. They blend well, pigment is good and they last all day long. I do use a primer. The shimmers work better applied with a finger or a wet brush. I spray my brush with setting spray and that way they last most of the day. Some of them can be a little powdery so I go in lightly and just tap with a good brush. There is some kickback but not much fallout My one complaint is there isn’t a lot of product in each one and I hit pan on some of them really fast. The packaging is nice, and it has a good mirror. The older style palette was prettier than the more recent ones. The new ones just have a flat top in rose gold with Stila stamped on it in gold. Definitely a downgrade for the prettier earlier packaging.

   I wish they had the colors on the front instead of the back. I was really happy to see kitten, oasis and puppy all together in one palette. The mattes are really nice and I can do several looks with this palette. Pigalle is really pretty too. I also have the Mind which is all mattes and Soul which is cooler tones. I hit pan on almost all of Mind but I really don’t use Soul that much. It has too many colors in it that just don’t work for me and I wish it had more lighter mattes and that the colors weren’t so similar.

   I bought this palette when Stila had them on sale without seeing it in person or swatching first. I think they look very pretty in the pan and the overall look of this palette is on the lighter side, good for those who don’t like working with or wearing darker colors. When I got it I admit I was a little intimidated because there’s mostly shimmers in the palette. I was able to get some nice holiday / christmas looks out of it (christmas 2016) but otherwise it has been sitting in my drawer ever since. The shimmer is more on the glitter side in my opinion and being mature with slightly hooded and slightly crepy eyes, I can only do glitters for a few hours because regardless of what primer I use, the glitter particles fall out and shift.
   I have had this palette for over two years now and put it on “palette probation” in January, meaning I give it an honest 2-3 attempts and if I am for any reason unhappy with the palette, it gets purged. I wasn’t getting any color payoff and figured the pans had hardened, so I scraped off some with a qtip and also used the tape method and nope – still no color payoff. All I am getting out of the pans are mostly shimmer / glitter flakes and very little color. I should also mention right when I bought these Stila changed the packaging on these palettes from the metallic outers to a standardized plain one, but this one was still in the older packaging. I can’t help but think, since this palette wasn’t as polular as the soul and mind palettes, that it was older stock (I got the mind palette at the same time and it came in the newer plain packaging).
   So I am sorry to say I have recently tossed my Stila MATW palettes. I suppose I could have tried applying them wet to see if this helped but I have so many other palettes I like better.

   Lovely colors to look at and great, huge mirror that can be bent backwards quite far. I bought it 30% off, from CameraReadyCosmetics, without the opportunity to swatch the colors first. Very happy that I did not pay the full price of $50. I’m not sure if Stila eyeshadows have always been this way or that the quality has gone downhill recently, or there is inconsistency-issues with these, but this is far from my favorite palette.

   The first thing that is worth noticing is that there are 3 different palettes: Mind, Spirit and Soul, which have slightly different colors and textures. This one has two matte colors: chinois (vanilla) and puppy (coffee with milk), while the rest are satin shimmers. I dislike both of the mattes because, while they are great colors, there is basically NO color payoff if I don’t use a primer first – they fade into nothingness when blended out. Chinois is a vanilla color, and I have NC25-30 skin color right now, and the shadow does not show up AT ALL on me without primer

   The rest of the colors are shimmery/satin – no glitter in any of them. ALL of the shadows in the palette are quite powdery – I have to *carefully* tap the shadows to pick up product – swirling the brush in these would make them go everywhere (like with some of the Anastasia palettes people have been complaining about) because of how loosely packed these shadows are. While many of the colors are pretty, their staying power is about 3 hours without primer – they fade badly and slide around and into the creases of my eyelids. After applying three of the darkest colors (pigalle, barefoot and espresso – the three right ones) to my eyes, at the end of the day it wasn’t even possible to see approximately what colour eyeshadow I was wearing. The colors just became muddied together, to the point where it wasn’t possible to tell that I had created a gradient eye look. While I can wear MAC eyeshadows without a primer, I absolutely need a primer with the Stila shadows – they don’t last over bare eyelids, concealer or foundation only. I use the MAC 24h Prep + Prime Eyeshdow Primer under the Stila shadows; this primer can make anything last all day – even eyeshadow pigments.

   While I love the packaging of the shadows: the huge mirror, the thin palette, no unnecessary spacing, great colors, with no two that are alike, the quality of the shadows in just bad IMO. I would recommend this only for those that are willing to wear a primer under the shadows. Am I mad at this palette? Yes I am, but I will still give it 2 lippies because I can actually use the shadows with primer, althought this is definitely not a good palette IMO.

   I’ve owned my Spirit palette for over two years now. This is the perfect palette for that girl who loves colour in her makeup BUT needs to tone it down for a professional work environment. I’d also recommend it for those who’d like to step out their neutral comfort zone with pops of colour, but I’d imagine those girls already have a neutral palette and are better off purchasing a single to try. Also great for the palette collector. This palette will cover all aspects of life: the regular work week, and drinks on a Friday night. You can do a nice first date look with it as well.

   Quality of the eyeshadows are good, but I’d say their old palettes were a tad better. You’re going to get hit or miss shades with this palette though. Puppy and Slate are not very pigmented, but it’ll show better with a primer. Chinois is powdery but I’m perfectly fine using this as a base colour. My favourites out of this are Oasis, Golightly, Barefoot and Pigalle.

   Packaging is way better than their old ones because I’m not fond of cardboard, and people want the luxe experience these days. It’s a lot easier to clean plastic. I appreciate the larger mirror in the palette too — great for women who tend to do their makeup on the commute or someone like me who’s multi-tasking and won’t sit still for makeup. I do not believe this palette is sturdy enough to be travel-friendly (i.e. running with your backpack), so you may experience powders shattering (particularly with Kitten), and pans falling out of the palette (as they are glued in). I like that it is compact enough to be stored in your makeup pouch (medium-large size).

   For reference, I am NW15 with blonde hair and blue eyes.

   I recently purchased “EATW” in Spirit at my local Shoppers Drug Mart (in Canada) for $60 CAD before tax (with the help of a gift card). I had been eyeing this palette for a while, and at first, I’m ashamed to say I was a bit narrow-minded in thinking that the colours were “weird” because of reddish tones like Pigalle and Barefoot. But I’ve been watching more beauty tutorials lately, so I’ve become more open to the potential of extremely warm shades such as the above.

   Also, I have read the scathing reviews on the Temptalia site for the EATW palettes. While I would have to say that I am staying away from using any of these eyeshadows wet because of those reviews (scared to ruin my pretty eyeshadows), I’ve found that the wear quality is fairly decent, as good as the Naked 2 palette that I own (using UD primer).

   As well, being a woman in her 30s who wants to retain an illusion of professionalism, I can’t wear the overstated colours that I used to in my younger days, so I appreciate that most of these colours have a less pigmented quality to them. Especially the reds – Pigalle, Jezebel and Barefoot are not quite as pigmented as I had thought they’d be, so don’t be scared to try them. This actually works better – it allows people to be experimental while still looking “appropriate.” I think that Bobbi Brown’s eyeshadows are formulated with the same level of opacity/sheerness.

   The highlight colours are beautiful, there’s a mix of warm (Oasis) and cool (Kitten, Wheat, Chinois). As well, I’ve already used Golightly/Espresso (med. golden brown/dark cool brown) and Slate/Pewter (light grey/dark grey) to recreate some beautiful smoky eye looks that originally used some colours from the Naked palette (that I found on Pinterest). So, if you’re debating, you could keep that in mind….you’d still get the versatility of grey and brown smoky eye looks with the added versatility of a reddish smoky eye, as well as a matte light brown (Puppy) and some really gorgeous highlighters.

   And, if packaging is your thing – I have never seen more beautiful packaging for an eyeshadow palette. The rose gold finish looks *so* lovely sitting in my makeup kit. Very high-end look. I guess they were trying to help customers justify the $60 price point. It definitely looks very luxe. Again, if you were comparing to the Naked palette – in terms of packaging, Naked got schooled.

   I bought this largely because I wanted the color Kitten, and figured that the palette price was not much more than the single. I used it a couple of times, mostly the Kitten and Oasis colors. After two or three uses, the pans were cracking from the pressure of my eyeshadow brush. I couldn’t believe my eyes as I watched the shadows crumble because I was actually using them. Don’t know if I had a bad palette, but it’s now useless to me. Would not recommend because although the colors are pretty, formulation is terrible.

   SO beautiful! The whole palette is gorgeous and has everything I need to create a complete look! The pigmentation isn’t amazing, but really not bad and sufficient if you aren’t a professional make up artist and you’re just using this on yourself. The colours are really nice and unique, and Stila’s most famous Kitten is included. For 16 shadows, the price is actually pretty good! And each shadow is quite large.

   It’s a really good neutrals palette, but not just a regular neutrals, there’s a lot more reddish and peachy tones in this palette that makes it stand out to me. The top half is pretty warm and the bottom half is cooler, so it isn’t just a palette of browns and more warm browns. Perfect for everyday looks or a great smokey eye.

   The packaging is also to die for, it makes it me happy just using it! Feels and looks luxurious, but the emblem logo on the top and the gigantic mirror and shiny lined sides. Looks almost high end. Great, sturdy, aesthetically pleasing packaging with product inside that can create luxurious unique looks. Big thumbs up for this palette.

    Totally stoked on this eye shadow palette!!!

    I love the gilded Stila packaging and mirror in the compact. There is a wide range of colours and the palette even comes with a guide that shows you how to combine colours for a smoky eye, etc. I tried those combinations first and they were a little light for my taste so I copied them with the darker colours. The dark brown and charcoal are perfect for the crease and the lightest Wheat colour makes a good primer. I’ve used some of the shadows more than others, namely the pink champagne colour and the gold.

    These shadows feel light and smooth and go on very nicely. The shimmery colours never crease or clump as the day goes on. I have oily lids so I use a primer (Smashbox) with these but even when I forget or don’t have time, the shadows stay on pretty well.

    I’ve been using this palette for at least 6 months and it’s still going strong! My makeup artist friend commented that they were nice, high-quality pigments when she did a makeover on me using the palette.

    I paid $60 for this at Shoppers and feel like the price is worth it for so many colours that stay on so nicely.
